I see what you are saying if the doom had helped torb. But the disadvantages outweigh the advantages of that fight
The biggest factor is that You got their spawn doors right there.
It would be a 4v5 with both dps ults and a sombra for the doom
And The overtime
I do also want to point out that He did have a trade with Ana, soujorn, and mercy but mercy rezzed soujorn and Ana went Kirko to instantly teleport back into the fight. And then both dps have their ults. His trade off meant nothing in a matter of seconds
he definitely helped the enemy team with that. i don't think they had a chance against a sombra/ball ult combo in overtime though.
well in push you only need one to move bot its not like 3 on cart, but he should've stayed with the team and not gone to their spawn regardless
LW is one if my fav heroes to play rn. Ngl, life grip can REALLY enable your rein. I've had multiple games where my rein recognizes I have grip, charges in, gets a pick, then I pull em out. It's a pretty fun duo imo. Good stuff as always Grotech!

some “tank mains” have a VERY sensitive ego.
Had a scenario where the tank was going 1v5 expecting to get double pocketed when our healers were barely coming or trying get in LOS of our deep lost tank. The tank got mad and texted in text chat, The support responded one simple thing In text, “ you’re running into a 1v5, stop feeding” and that was enough to crush the tanks Soul and just threw the game. Stop playing and purposely jumping out of the map.

Okay in this instance the Rein was in bad positions but Lifeweaver pull is the worst designed ability in the game. In general, it's a panic ability that support players who don't play tank, use because they are worried about the tank dying (at half HP or more) than the tank holding space/trading backlines. All that work I had to do as a Rein to take that corner gets pulled away by a support who thinks they know tank better than me. It's a horrible ability
The fact that you call Grip the worst support skill in the game just shows that YOU have never played support or don't know how to play support in the game, because Grip can save a game if used correctly, Grip can help a drive rush at the front to put pressure on the team and then pull them to avoid dying, Grip can save your ally from deaths by environment, Grip can help a dps or Tank without enough mobility to get High Ground, Grip can help a dps or tank get a surprise attack as in the cases of rein's ult, cassidy and orisa, and Grip also heals, so generally the support uses grip to keep an ally alive for longer when the other support is not alive. You didn't give any valid arguments why Grip is a horrible skill, buddy.

3. I didn't say it wasn't good, I said it was poorly designed. This is because it takes away control from the person being pulled. As a tank, effective tanking is making space through cooldowns and resources and waiting for cooldowns. It can be a lengthy process. Tanks are the most pulled member of the team. If you make an ability erase all the space I worked hard to take when a Lifeweaver who isn't in VC has no concept of the game or taking space or doesn't know what cooldowns I have and I can't communicate those things, then it is a poorly designed ability. I have had friends who play LW and are in VC and we coordinate plays and that's fine, but to give a hero an ability to troll or throw on their own team without any control over your own character is poor design. Same with Sombra hack.

2. If you play support then you know when you should or shouldn't pull your ally to regroup, save their life when they can't mitigate the damage received, or just reposition, especially if you're in diamond.

I have been pulled away from securing kills as a Zarya because they didn't know I had both bubbles and assumed I would die. That is what makes it a bad designed ability not a bad ability. I have played Winston/Dva on Dorado first point when they have a pocketed soldier on high ground and the pull me when I go to dive them to force them out because they want me to fight the Rein/Sig on point. That is what makes it a poorly designed ability. I can't even play MY role because someone else is playing it for me. Do you understand now?

If you're uncomfortable with the LW doing support work when he thinks you need help, let him know via text chat or VC, it's not that complicated, the same if you think you shouldn't be being repositioned , you can literally get out of Life Grip, half the Heroes have an ability that cancels Life Grip, I think you are aware of that...
