Thank you Shaun. I've been a long time watcher of your channel. In a way, it seems like I've also been on this journey down the rabbit hole with you.
A few months ago I came across Lady C (she has even mentioned one of my comments about 3 videos ago) and I agree with her on most of her valid and proven perspectives. This shows that it is possible to be a fan and follower of topics which are of interest to both of you.

Agree… this is the part that Society is now missing which is the debate whether you agree or not both sides or more sides add to the discernment of possibilities that you may or may not have thought of in a situation whether it be relationships, investigations or a health decision anytime information is hidden is never good.

Lady Campbell uses some beautiful phraseology that I haven't heard for years. I was once in the dentists' and the very posh, very dry-humoured dentist was working on my teeth when he mentioned that he had read an article in the morning's Telegraph that mentioned that a particular politician had been described as an "energetic swordsman". I burst out laughing so hysterically that it took a few minutes to calm down sufficiently for the dentist to continue his work. Also, the receptionist came in to see if everything was alright, but we couldn't tell her what the mirth alluded to. After the consultation was finished he added that this chap, like the Duke Of Wellington, would arrive home from military actions and would pleasure his wife thrice before he even took his boots off. Needless to say that set the hysterics in motion again.

When I was a girl (teen years to mid 30’s) and my grandmother was still with me, my grandmother and I could sit for hours and dish the gossip much like this lady. This interview conjures some terrific memories.
What about the bracelet he gave Camilla at the time he was marrying Diana?
And the cufflinks Camilla gave Charles that he wore on the honeymoon or something. Diana knew about Camilla and was not happy about Camilla being at her wedding.

So much of this does not line up. Camilla rec’d an engraved bracelet from Charles the night before his wedding (which Diana found and was devastated). Camilla also became friendly with Diana prior in order to give Charles her view of Diana.
There are many other holes in this woman’s accounts. Diana was not flawless, true, but certainly not all this woman makes her out to be either.

None of us are flawless fortunately, we would be pretty boring if we were but Diana was nothing like this woman makes her case for I agree. I believe Camilla and Charles cooked up the idea of him marrying Diana together thinking she was naive and would put up with Charles having her as a mistress
To all the commenters; did you have Diana’s ear personally; are you in close contact with Diana’s and Charle’s family members and close friends. Or, like the rest of us just base your beliefs on what your heard from someone who heard it from someone who heard it from someone. If you have absolute proof please let me know not just hearsay. Her aristo friends are all weirdos. Check them out. They are hangers on from the one time she actually could entertain in society and that wasn’t long . I have been a party to drunken ne’er do well Aristo people and it’s not pretty. We were there at the time of Diana’s emergence. and saw things unfold. Heard Diana’s friends, her employer, her father and her sisters. lady C as she styles herself was not even heard of by most people until she went into the jungle. I am the same age as Lady Colin and remember al this, so it is so refreshing to see you hearing the truth from her about certain things😊 Also as a cloakroom assistant (in the early 1970s) at a private members dining club in Belgravia I witnessed many arisocratic/wealthy young ladies using bulimia as a way of losing weight or rather staying slim

At the end of the day Diana was 20 and Charles was in his 30ties, the power dynamic was not even and he was equally a dick in their marriage I'm sure. Evidence by old interviews when they ask him about Diana and he just keeps talking about himself, it's pretty funny actually.

The Problem is even before and when Charles walked Di down the isle he was having an affair with Camilla even before their marriage started according to Diana’s own words?
I read Charles spent the night with Camilla the night before the wedding.
I wrote up to and said Diana found a bracelet from Charles to Camilla the night before they were supposed to get married.
One only has to see that interview of Charles and Diana when they were asked by the interviewer if this was love and Diana replied, " Of Course!", and Charles said, " Well, whatever love is", and sort of laughed nervously at which point, you could see the face of Diana looking like she felt she'd been gutted.
I do not believe that Charles loved Diana but I do think he was being pressured to get married because he was getting on in years.
I absolutely believe a 100 % in Diana and she explained this triangle before being done away with.
I would rather believe Lady C’s version as it makes far more sense. I’m probably a lot older than most of you, I’m a lot older than Lady C and although I loved Diana and appreciated her compassion for people I saw the way she behaved at various times in her life and I always felt that Prince Charles was really maligned. It’s human nature for people to believe things about a person they don’t particularly like over one they do. We are all guilty of trying to find excuses to defend those we like when we really know they are not the icons we set them up to be. Just saying.
I love listening to Lady C she’s a scream so witty while not always agreeing with her she’s a gem.

I've recommended The Crown to people but told them to bear in mind it's fictionalised. Lady C states the same but coming from a different angle. I'm happy to listen to all sides and opinions as I don't have the definitive info of what's true and what isn't. Interesting to recall how Lady Colin became known to us - via reality TV. She's always been great entertainment 👍

Lady C's always 'for' the royal family. Diana was very young and it's well documented that Charles and Camilla were together from the beginning, and that's why she became ill.
Diana was ill because of the toxic family she came from and her upbringing. A short 12 minute snippet isn't going to give you all that context.

Hi, when will you have the full interview?
I do love Lady C but with all due respect, no one could possibly know every little thing that went on behind closed doors. I do think that both Prince Charles and Lady Diana were at fault in this marriage, but I do also think that she most likely has most of what she was told by Prince Charles and Camilla. Both of whom I do not believe. Only they know the truth, and while Prince Charles does good things now, there’s no denying his public arrogance then, therefore his private personality must’ve been horrendous and may still be. But again, nobody knows what goes on behind closed doors.
Lady C wrote a book on Diana and was in close contact for a good length of time. They did fall out over something but later became friends again.

Totally agree. Diana says truthfully there were 3 in the marriage from the get go. Camilla's at the wedding & Charles never lost contact. He was in Camilla's house having an ongoing affair with her long before marrying Diana.

I’m not convinced that this woman is a human being
She was a male. Forgot to tell her husband of 12mths, Lord Colin Campbell, whose brother rang him up after reading in the newspaper that 'She' was a 'He'. Lord Colin questioned her and then filed for a divorce after 1 yr of marriage. She kept the title, of course. She has never met the royal family and is a 'self promoter' writing books which makes her look like an 'expert' ..... nobody is the higher eschalons of the British Class system would ever behave as she does.
Might be a human being but I am not convinced that he is a she.

She uses the title 'lady and gossips about 'others' as if she knows them personally when she definately does not. She has referred to Prince Charles' friends as 'contempories' !!!! No well rounded person has an eating disorder like bulimia. Diana had lots of traumas in her upbringing. People need to stop looking at Diana through rose tinted glasses. Yes, she loved children and was a humanitarian but she also had emotional problems. She knew how to work the press. She knew how to cause trouble. And she did cause trouble. Lady C has many connections not just with Royal acquaintances, friends and staff but with people whom she has hunted down to ask questions to document the truth. She's contacted Meghan's family members and spoke to them to get to the truth for example. I believe Lady Cbecause she calls a spade a spade. She's a Royalist but she is not a fantasist. She's a realist. She will call out the mistakes of them when they do make them. Too many people take the Crown and such like as the gospel truth but it is fiction. The Royals laugh at the inaccuracies of it. They've done so on camera.
Lady CC is a wonderful raconteur. While she and all of her contemporaries sat in castles, Diana was sitting bedside with mens dying of AIDS in New York, London. She was key in de-stigmatizing the myth of “catching” aids by hugging or holding someone’s hand. #QueenOfHearts

I subscribe to a number of channels. It seems Shaun is the only one gaining subscribers these days. This interview is an example of why. Always interesting and makes one think.

“Whatever ‘in love’ means!!” Remember that quote?? Which made Diana cringe and look ghastly away thinking to herself, what did he just say! She was in love, Charles wasn’t. He was ordered to find a wife and produce heirs! Period. After Harry was born, he completely ran out on Diana, so to speak, and turned to Camilla, who obviously wasn’t happy with her unfaithful husband!
By the time Diana had Harry she’d had quite a few affairs.
This person is lying in plain sight and has no problem at all with her fabricated version. She is a public agent for Charles and his family. Despicable world we are living in. Poor Princess Diana,RIP

She supports him 100% and doesn't think he's done anything wrong because it hasn't been to court...and she agrees that he is was acting honourably by going to NY for 4 days to say goodbye. According to her he's a man of a certain age, of a certain upbringing and that's how they do things. (Not that she would know) but that's her opinion on Andrew.

I adore Lady C, I really do! In their younger years, the Queen and Prince Philip were tough cookies, and I can imagine how difficult it was to be an "in law" of this couple. I think it was Anne's husbands who had it the easiest.
As for Charles and Diana's marriage, this marriage was arranged, plain and simple. Marriages not based in love do not last. Try as he did to break up Andrew's marriage, and succeeding in bringing about a divorce, Philip was not able to break Andrew and Sarah Ferguson up permanently. This is because they married for love, and Sarah will be loyal to Andrew and defend him to her dying breath.
Camilla loves Charles, and this is why their marriage has lasted. The same holds true for Edward's marriage. Now we see in the next generation Prince William marrying for all the right reasons, and the Prince of Hazard marrying for all the WRONG ones!
Keep Harry out of this. He has keft the Firm. And making his own way with the latest eesearch into Mental Health. Something all royals need!

I most certainly do. Diana Spencer knew what she wanted and portrayed herself as the perfect bride, she was a fame junkie and she taught het new daughter in law MM very well.

It's funny, I have worked for Bushra Fakhoury who made the sculpture of the man holding up the elephant. The first of that exact design, among others, were under two feet high and made in bronze. I think the one in the video is a resin cast with bronze powder added to make it look like real bronze. She's a good artist and nice person. Not sure about Lady CC though.

Lady Colin Campbell appears to be quite a character. She really doesn't seem to like Princess Diana very much.
She really did like Diana but saw through some of her faults - none of us are perfect and rarely measure up to the picture we would like to see.
