    Hi Cohan, how often do you recommend to have the figure and its accesories outside the box? For example, I usually change the pose of my Nendoroids and its accesories every month or so to avoid the parts that are inside the box get sticky.

      That will keep them clean for sure! My understanding is they used more plasticizer on older figures so those ones I would do every few months but newer ones you can keep them sealed for much longer. I tend to only change stuff every 2+ years and haven't had any build up. Also it mostly forms on faceplates and the hair pieces which are probably out of the box at all times if you're displaying them.

    Im so lazy to clean in detail all of my nendo (around 20+ and most of it was unbox)..so i just simply brush them without dismental since i put in dust proof cabinet..

      Ah yeah I've been thinking of adding some doors to my cabinets so I don't have to clean so many of them.

    how do you remove the arms without getting scared they would rip off? i have nendoroid #927 (Gabriel)

    • @cohan_samuel
      @cohan_samuel  4 года назад +1

      All nendoroids can take their arms off so don't worry about breaking it just pull or twist it out!

    The hole in the Nendoroids back on mine at least (Mami from madoka magica) isn’t deep enough to fit on the stand, how do I get it to stay standing up?

    • @cohan_samuel
      @cohan_samuel  4 года назад +2

      Ah I've had a couple of tricky ones like that. If you can get the angle right and tighten the screws on the arm then it should work out. As a last ditch effort you could try contact Goodsmile and ask for a replacement

      I have to make sure to push it on far enough but if I touch it the slightest bit it usually falls over, it's fine though, thanks!

    Another good video. 👍I prefer wet cleaning as it removes an eventual plasticizer too. It is important to use soap that can be easily rinsed off without residue. To be honest, I'm not doing cleaning too often as I keep all my figures in the acrylic display cases. They are not 100% dustproof, but almost. 🙂

      At lest they will stay clean for longer that way. Ive been thinking about putting some glass doors on my shelves.

      What water temperature do you recommend to be the safest without the possibility of washing off the paint on the eyes and face? Lukewarm, cold, or hot?

    • @ForMiSoft
      @ForMiSoft 3 года назад

      @@darth_pepperoni27 I'm using lukewarm soap water. It can be a bit warmer but not hot.

    Also should i keep them in the box at first? i didn’t get my first one yet but i also don’t want her to get to dusty, Thanks

    • @cohan_samuel
      @cohan_samuel  4 года назад +1

      If you're never going to sell it or display it then keep it in the box or else it would be better to take it out and maybe place it in a sealed display if you don't want to dust it off as often.

    im just starting my collection! im getting miku this weekend how often should i clean is a cutip also something useful?

    • @cohan_samuel
      @cohan_samuel  4 года назад +2

      A cutip would be perfect if you don't have a paintbrush! As for how often I would just say do it as often as you clean the rest of that room they're in or whenever you look and notice a lot of dust piling up. It all depends on how dusty the room gets over time.

    Do you ever recommend soaking them in warm water and soap?

    decided to visit this video after buying a marnie nendoroid. i have a deku one that i've owned for over a year now but wasn't delicate enough with him and his arm joint snapped in two, since he was an action model. gonna make sure i take a lot of care with my second nendo! i brush my figures on my shelf regularly, once a week at least, since i have quite a few, but even so haha

    • @cohan_samuel

      Having now bought a ton of figures I'd say get yourself a sealed cabinet so you don't have to clean then because it takes forever 😂

    How often do you dust them?

    • @cohan_samuel
      @cohan_samuel  2 года назад

      Not often enough 😂. It's been a few months in-between dusting but since there's not too much air flow in my room they haven't got too much on them. I'd say just keep an eye on yours and dust them whenever you think they could use a good clean!

    Why do white color parts of nendoroid get yellowish? Or stained?

    • @cohan_samuel
      @cohan_samuel  2 года назад

      That's if you have them in direct sunlight.
