    Thank you for posting this interview with us. It's a treat to hear a living legend's expertise share his expertise. It's about time we got another first tier grading service.

    John . . . . .thanks for considering the collector members in the phase-out. I would certainly love to submit a final 20 coins as I transition to full CAC-Grading. - Jeff

    My opinion of CAC has always been, "If I have to get the GRADE graded, then what am I paying PCGS for?" (especially when it takes 4 months to get my submission back). This just makes so much more sense, and I hope they shoot to the top of the market.

    Great interview. We all have questions and JA was able answer many - very helpful to have an understanding so early on. I am looking forward to seeing the coins in the new CAC holders. Count on me for support. Seth Chandler

    Great video! As it is now, a green bean tells us that the coin is at the top of its grade. I can't speak for other collector's but I personally have satisfaction knowing my coin is at the top of its grade. Will CAC be putting anything on its slab to indicate a let a say a ms-64 is at the top of the grade? NGC and PCGS use a * or + to indicate eye appeal as you already know😉😉

      Thank you! I believe + grading is part of the plan. I don't know about star for eye appear though. I would doubt it. -John

      CAC beans do not mean "top of the grade", they mean at least the grade plus .4. Thus, your MS64 example would be at least MS64.4.

      I don't believe this is accurate. Where have you seen this published?

      @@greysheet-1 A reputable member of CAC forum posted it thereon. Ask John Albanese for proof.

    NGC, PCGS, and ANACS dont elaborate on their "details cleaned" designation. Its always up to the coin owner to figure out where the cleaning is at.

    What are these new slabs going to look like? Like NGC's? (I hope). White is best.

      CAC has set up a Q&A thread to address the growing number of questions. Also, John Albanese and I have discussed a follow up interview in a couple weeks when the dust settled. www.caccoin.com/forums/discussion/517/cac-grading-company-announcement-faq-question-submission

      I have never cared for the NGC holders. They don't fit in my safe deposit boxes at the bank. While at shows, I don't bother looking at NGC holders. Coins look better in PCGS holders.

    Don't agree, a MS 66 coin is better than a 65 gold sticker , Don't know if N G C will reholder your 65 gold to a 66.

    Multitude of graders quickly grading your coin in thirty seconds or less. Still someone's OPINION. Just another grab for another piece of what has become a very lucrative pie. Nothing new under the sun here. Move along children.😊

    Million-dollar question; Why did CAC never "sticker" ANACS coins???

  • @georgedorn9394
    @georgedorn9394 2 года назад

    Wait you actually say "C-A-C" sorry but I pronounce it "Cack"

    • @greysheet-1
      @greysheet-1  2 года назад +1

      C-A-C and "Cack" are both common usages. I think I say "Cack" more than not, don't I?? I need to go back and re-watch the interview.
