Any early game guides you are looking forward to?

I’m a new player who is still getting use to how all the systems intertwine. My approach to early game is keep a hero (with the belt) in ambush to farm influence against my starting enemy. After grabbing the city first turn, Hippa attacks the bronze to get the bonus xp for shields and the gold to start stock piling for the tier3 unit upgrades. The city is for upgrading into instant horsewomen which the AI can’t deal with. Next priority is getting the stone on the harpy island. Also turn1 I’m making non aggressions with the Troys to afford more first turn builds.
More of a mid game thing, I’ll send a lone hero to follow my sister faction around restoring all the ruins she leaves in her wake. Flipping them if not special or building them out if they have something needed (gold, unique units, etc)
    Thanks for making the content

Finally watched this guide. Really nice. I'm nonwhere as agressive as you are, but 3 provinces by turn 13 is amazing. From there, do you expand in every direction simultaneously? Do you ever leave behind a small army/commander for strictly defense purposes, or you're always on the attack?

So once you get to 4 commanderies, u should be getting all gods slowly maxed out and building at least one high tier army. From there, it is still all about strategic expansion.
As hippo, I would say get the north above you until Hector and all of the southeast, then prioritize the Amazon treasure settlements around you and push into athens

Hippolytha's archers actually reach sniper warhammer level

They are good, but her faction not getting bowyer building limits their ammunition greatly. Really wish she had access to the building

They're awesome, the best archers in the game, IMHO (not considering mythos crap, shade archers, etc.), also I think bowyer building is not necessary, since they can kill armies so quickly

Depends on the enemy you decide to engage and if it is a siege battle. I have engaged four armies at once and even units with ammunition over 70 can get to running low.
Nevertheless, yes they are phenomenal units in late game, along with the aristomachoi and they do not get shafted in autoresolve like Amazon champions or the cav units

Usually i wait till i have zeus level 2 to start recruiting heroes...
Amazons in general are my favorite factions, mostly because of the pokemon evolution units xD Yes late game armies dont have that OP unit buffed by building factionwide, BUT THEY HAVE HORSIES

A thing i started to do in mythos is ignore the armies that pop up from the Mythical beasts. I use those armies as gold mines for my priests... turn 1 i use the priest in the settlement and those following 2 turns i use them on those armies (unless i want to get the gryphin patriarch... the lesser griffin you get from the pop army makes the final fight so much easier)...
For hippolyta which beast do you think will work best? Cerberus is an easy choice for almost any faction (penny works best with gryphin patriarch) thanks to the eco boost, but do you think any other beast probably works better?

A way to look at which mythos monster to get is by weakness of the army. Hippo has great chariot, missile, and frontline but no phenomenal hard hitting Frontline or flankers. So Cerberus with the shade champions or Griffin with the great flankers with stalk would be good to get
