Get Realistic Ground Textures at Default Airports in MSFS

Today we look at Rex Real Global Airport Textures, an add on for MSFS that swaps out the default ground textures at airports, for their own. Is it worth the money, and does it increase realism within the sim? Let’s find out!

It’s a Pyle PDMIC58. From what I can gather, it’s a knock off of the Shure sm58. Crazy cheap but delivers the goods. I use Nvidia broadcast to remove background noise when live but for a pre-recorded video such as this, it’s straight out of the mic

Hello. First of all thanks for this video. How the the REX deals with the smaller local airports which have shorter and less wider runways? These runways are usually dark black and they sometimes dont even have markings or a lot of rubber on them. In other words how the REX tretures deal with smaller airport runways for GA aviation? THanks.

I've had a look at the green taxiway surround textures at photos of KSFO and I think the REX version is actually more representative of the real ground look.

15 pounds for some shading, no thanks. This might be fixed in 2024 if they adjust the colors.

Nah the difference doesn't bother me like it does to some. I am fine with the original texture.
