My most worn was the Tudor BB54. Easily my favorite watch!!! The look, the feel, everything about it i absolutely love. Totally worth the $3,900 price tag!!!!!
My most worn model is my 1601 Datejust. Then again I have 3: bamboo bezel, birth year fluted, and birth year fluted two tone and they get most of my wrist time at the office. Wear what you love in good health into the new year.
Interesting. On the one hand I’m not as nerdy as you in having a spreadsheet, on the other hand, I’m nerdy enough to make sure I share the time evenly on most of my watches, like my pants and socks. I still yearn to be a one watch guy (just changing straps). Most worn watch is the Damasko DS30, Casio MRWS-300h and Militado 3 sub dial chronograph. Then, finally, a $10 Skmei G-Shock square lookalike for manual work, which really rather good! A dive watch enthusiast, normally, I don’t now actually possess one!
It would be interesting to see this update with an additional metric of "cost per wear" for each watch. Thinking about watches in terms of cost per wear would really help curb a lot of the frivolous hit and run comments about what people should add to their collections, and help the community as a whole.
I bought two watches this year. In February, I bought an orange bezel, white dial Omega PO and in October I got the black dial Tudor Pelagos FXD. I pretty much wear the PO during the day and the Pelagos the rest of the time after about 4 in the afternoon throughout the night. My collection sets pretty much in the case after getting these two.
That's a great duo! The planet oceans have always been in the back of my mind but the size has always kept me away. While the thickness is worrying I'm more concerned about it being top heavy, how has yours been for you?
@@thewatchidiot I have mine on the bracelet. At first it does seem a little heavy but the bracelet is so well done (unlike the 300m) it's comfortable for me. I'm a big guy at 6'5", 270# with 8 5/8" wrists and I think it's a perfect fit for me.
Been watching your videos for a while now and was inspired to start a collection. Started with the MAMACOO, its specs for price and clean looks, now am looking for a dress watch to add.
Another top job TWI. The statistics do not lie. I'll try and split my most worn watches based on work and my own time. Work it's been mainly digital watches due to the environment, my F-91W had a lot of wrist time at the beginning of the year followed by my Tissot PRX smaller Digital, yes I did buy one with my own money because I liked it even though the rest of the solar system appears to dislike it. My wrist, my choice. Personal time it's a bit harder to draw a most worn list. The 2 stand out mechanical watches most worn would include my SMP300M white dial (it's hard to believe now that I was considering moving this one on a while back) and my Explorer 36 (again I find it hard to believe that I never really considered adding this watch to my collection a few short years ago). A couple of watches have moved on albeit on loan to family that just didn't get time on my wrist.
Man that's some impressive geeky stats ! Which oddly enough i really liked but also some cracking time pieces . My most worn are divers ( 3 in particular) purely due to the robustness , timing facility & the nature of my work with no worry getting them dinged up & drowned but without stats i'd say it was the Kamasu .
This year , along with the usual black and occasional white , I have developed a love of green watches. I don't do blue, maybe baby blue. But mu seaw moss green Seiko LX Springdrive in titanium is by far mu most comfortable and worn watch , together with the Horizon Nemo in pistachio . Green is not tne new black but definitely the new blue .
Always fun to see your deep dive into the numbers! The titanium SZT looks fantastic and it makes sense that it managed to crush your previous records. Looking forward to the Pelagos FXD video bc I've been eyeing it for a while and I'll need you to be my enabler 😅
Loool the FXD has been awesome it would have racked up big wrist time numbers if I got it earlier! Weirdly enough I haven't worn the SZT much lately but seems like today's a good day to do that. Always good to hear from you
Question for anyone, haven’t given this a lot of thought but, if you buy a watch in the middle of the year, it is at a disadvantage to the watch that you’ve owned since the beginning of the year right ( is it not?). Shouldn’t you do a calculation to see how much wrist time each watch gets as a percentage of its time owned for the year? That would be more accurate.
@thewatchidiot this watchthatwatch guy specifically said I'm the only one with a spreadsheet on what I've worn, I thought I don't think you are if that watchidiot fella is on here
I love this bro! Do you set your Zulu time to a specific timezone for fun? 😁 Glad that you bought the SMP again. By FAR my most worn watch was the SMP, soooo goooood
Thanks man!! I set the SZT and basically all my gmts to UTC mainly bc it makes me feel cool😅 no other reason lol! Yeah I'm so glad that the SMP is back it's going to get a lot of wrist time especially when it starts getting warmer! Awesome to hear you're loving your SMP😁
@thewatchidiot "makes me feel cool" lol 😂 that's respectable sir. Part of me wished I went with the rubber like you did. I actually like the bracelet believe it or not, but the rubber is so comfy! Debating on getting the mesh... But I keep hearing rumors that 2nd half of 2025 OMEGA might release a new bracelet for the SMP line 😶
Lol I speak the truth! Actually Uncle straps came out with an SMP rubber strap for 50 that has the look of the OEM strap and it's integrated as well. I haven't tried it out but I can't imagine Uncle Straps would put out an uncomfortable strap. Maybe worth a look instead of spending way more for an OEM one as good as it is. Fingers crossed that Omega updates the bracelet with a taper and makes the watch 40mm that would be perfect
At the very least a gmt watch tells me if it's am or pm before adjusting the date (as long as it's set for my home time zone). This only really applies for a caller GMT obviously
I mean you could compare it to eating good tasting food in comparison to bland/bad tasting food , yes we could still get the all the nutrients from both of them but while getting them the good tasting one will be a lot better to have 🤷🏻♂️

Do you have photos of the watches?
Is the reference number for the baby samurai right? I punched it in and it came up Thailand bettafish LE turtle.
Imagine a non-watch-person stumbling upon a video like this 😂
he must be insane, some next level obsession like smeagol
🤯
@@lihanou lol exactly
You can say that again! 🎉
That’s why we like him though! The clear watch obsession! Lol
You deserved to be on Teddy’s end of year video! I hadn’t heard of like a quarter of the people on his vid.
I'd also prefer TWI over let's say, watchgringa or britneyspearce or whatever name she goes by now. Can't stand her mumbo jumbo fake accent.
@@missaleromanum5614 tell me what area/region her accent is from.
Who's Teddy?
@@JermGregs She is Canadian and indeed sound Canadian.

Oh wow hearing that means so much to me! I really appreciate the support and I'll keep the videos coming in 2025 for you!😁

My collection seems to moving more towards vintage and neo vintage. I have a large collection and I now am into watches with more personality.
Interesting stats; thanks for sharing !
My most worn: Timefactors PRS-22 Speedbird 3 on FKM strap.
2nd: Seiko SLA051
3rd: Casio GW-5000U

As always, my most worn watch is the trusty Marathon Navigator that I sleep in 365 days per year.
The Longines Spirit x Hodinkee hands down. Man i love that watch. It sickens me that i wasn't able to secure one...

Hey bud! Sent you an email about the Longines GMT! Hope to hear back soon
My spreadsheet tells me I've worn my Seiko sbdc101 46 days, my Sinn u50 sdr 41 days, and my Sinn 104 38 days through the end of November.
Sent you an email a few hours ago on the watch sale. Cool video and stats!
Spirit Zulu worn 115 times... looks brand new.
Why were you not on the Teddy video bro?
Maybe me diving into all my numbers is too nerdy!😅

Most worn watch for 2024 was my Tudor Pelagos LHD.
It's always nice to hear from fellow Pelagos owners! My Pelagos is always in my top 5 but the FXD swapped places with it this year!

Wow. I admire an unabashed full on watch nerd. Maybe I'll build my own "daily wear" spreadsheet for 2025.
Excellent watch but I much prefer stick markers over Arabic or Roman numerals

Why do we watch people pay so much for finishing when it ends up getting scratched and beat to hell in a few months…
