Transporting Animals To Freedom
December 15th 2011 was the day of angels.
100 dogs scheduled to be killed had angels watching over them.
Through donations raised, S.T.A.R.T. funded a private flight for over 100 death row dogs to reach the waiting arms of rescue groups in Oregon.
On a cold early morning, shelter staff, volunteers, pilots, and rescuers came together for one purpose - to make sure these animals would NEVER suffer again.
In 2011 California euthanized over 500,000 animals.
But today was a small victory.
