True enough on the surface, but you're missing details that matter. Actually realize for themselves they can compete with LPL/LCK teams if playing at their peak and even beat some of them. And... don't just roll over and die or repeat force incredibly stupid desperation plays. Just look for calculated ways to make a comeback and don't give up. Might not be impressive for LPL/LCK team, but for NA, that's a huge mental improvement.
As an NA fan, this is pathetic. To think that the only way we could make it out of worlds was to face each other and not a single major region win is so cringe, feels like a make-a-wish moment before we die to any of the other 7 draws
@@Senng3dyou are not serious right? G2 had to go up against LPL #1 team and put up a very good fight. It is a shame G2 had to go down like this. If it was any NA team vs BLG, I bet it would be an easy 2-0 for BLG.
Gross overreaction. There's 2 things to remember here - Umti overall this year hasn't been bad at all and can only improve given more time to mesh with team. And who would you replace them with anyway? If there's no better prospects, then blowing up your roster does you no good. Plus you need to consider overall roster synergy or you end up with G2 Rekkles issue. He was most skilled adc sure, but didn't fit G2 style. Ohhhh who cares how FLY advanced and G2 didn't. They are not better than LPL and LCK teams anyways. Whoever says otherwise is absolutely delusional. Now we 'll watch FLY get demolished by GenG not because FLY is that bad, but because GenG is that good. Yes FLY got some more favorable draws in swiss and G2 didn't but that's how drawing works in any tournaments. In football/soccer at Euro 2024 Germany played Spain in quarters and it was basically the early final of the tourney. Same thing about T1 vs JDG last year. They played each other in semis but that was the true final. And this has happened many other times in every tournament mode. My point is that this is how tournaments work and not always the best teams on each end advance. Either this is because of knockouts, or a harder group compared to an easier group, or in this case a swiss stage. No system is perfect and they all have their drawbacks as you can see... What I disagree with is that the promotion / elimination series should be best of 5s not best of 3s. That's the real HUGE blunder by riot in my opinion...Why not allow a team their full potential to adapt in a series? Basically what a best of 3 means is that you can cheese off a game in the beginning of a series and instantly put your opponent with their backs against the wall, even for their tournament life. That should be illegal, especially when we 're talking about e-sports where teams can actually play back to back series without having to worry about physical fatigue, injuries etc. Final point for riot : change each swiss stage matchup to a best of 3 instead of a best of 1. That's how you get a true worlds championship where all teams show their full potential. You make it worth it for each team to compete in there, and also make it more rewarding for the fans, to enjoy their favorite teams playing a lot of games...
Dude wtf is TL picks at game 3. Is like g2 picking ryze at their last game. Time to fire their coaches. How do you pick Kledd vs al those tanks and Kaiza doesnt kill tanks😂
G2 pick Ryze because its a side lane farmer( Caps is best kind of champ), and they needed ap midlaner who can counter Sylas. Like thats literally his only pick here
Kai'sa is literally one of the best at killing tanks. Not if you go ap poke style though. And kled - if not put behind via early 2v2 wins/gank pressure/outplay will largely neutralize yone and deny him all-in kills off a single engage due to his dismount/remount mechanic. And if TL played it, there's no doubt at least one LPL/LCK may also pull it out in knockouts as it probably came up with scrim partners as a yone counter. We'll probably see it played better there and then you and others will change your tune. It was an execution issue; not a draft issue.
Refreshing to see. Fly still has inconsistency and bad series, but when they actually show up... they're showing what the next level of League looks like to other NA squads. It's been years slowly building up, but NA teams finally starting to buy into improving macro and decision-making instead of just 1v1/"I hit Korean challenger". We've seen glimpses before, but NRG just individually lacked the talent compared with some of FLY to get more from their teamwork. Don't expect them to win, but they might just upset a team in knockouts if they play at their peak. Hopefully other teams take note. TL tried, but they're just not at that next level like LPL/LCK teams yet. Keep coaching the right stuff and they can be where current peak FLY is by next year. You can't stop pushing, because LPL/LCK still improving and evolving too.
