- This man is an actual gigachad and his fight was honestly the one I had the hardest time with given that bell, didn’t help I was playing on ultimate while recording this. His boss fight theme was pretty good even though it didn’t use his iconic battle horn motif as much I would’ve expected. Paesano absolutely cooked with this score.

God, Venom's influence on Peter was so fucking TERRIFYING. Sure, he was still aggressive, and still gave Peter confidence on the side, but here, his screaming will give you deep chills. That's some serious rage....
Did you know Yuri Lowenthal actually hurt his voice doing that? He said it was nobody's fault but his own, but he was having too much fun with it and didn't want to stop.

As someone who grew up on comics because of my Dad. Me, and him became very impressed with the iteration of Kraven's character in this game, we strongly suspect someone at Insomniac, has to be a very passionate fan of Kraven's character, it's just the way they executed his character sounds too inspiring, such an ambitious way of introducing him to the sequel, and the violin playing every time he wins against his prey, like if the violin instrumentally resembles his sadness of disappointment, ONLY BECAUSE he kept winning, and then, when Venom appeared, it's like the Alien Symbiote gave Kraven a light of hope, a light of motivation, a light of a worthy last hunt, Harry gave something to Kraven, that Peter couldn't, a good last hunt. I just wished Venom was parading around NY with Kraven's corpse, to embody Kraven's inhumane satisfaction, when he told Peter to parade with his corpse if he killed him.
2:07 to 2:44 I loved this part of the soundtrack! Gave you the vibe that two freaks of nature were going at it against each other. Whoever wins, something worse would await...
Kraven stole the spotlight for me tbh. I was hyped to see Venom before the game released, but seeing how badass Kraven is in this game is absolutely fire and defintely made me change my opinion.
True Kraven did steal the spotlight, but only if the game would’ve still win some game awards

Kraven has 69 years in the Marvel's Spider-Man 2
Base Spider-Man cannot compete against Kraven. Kraven's experience in hand to hand combat, such as his other fighting methods is what gives him an advantage, to which makes Peter look like an Amateur. He's a powerhouse, but he has allot of depth into different fighting styles, he's fast enough to land a hit against Peter, to where Peter couldn't react on time. He also subdued Peter with the Symbiote. Peter ONLY started to compete against Kraven, as he started to let the Symbiote take control.
Insomniac's Kraven is actually consistent with the comics. Kraven fought Agent Venom in several altercations, to where Agent Venom became surprised at Kraven's impressive speed. The thing about Kraven is that, he may not necessarily scale higher in terms of power, but he has other fighting methods to replace of whatever is absent, and subdue his opponents.
If you could do Peter VS Miles, Venom’s Rampage, and Venom VS Kraven that would be great!

I never realised how similar the ostinato sections were to Martin Li’s themes until listening to this, interesting parallel of two villains trying to break Peter’s resolve.
