Hi mark I use a small honda eu10i inverter generator as backup, If I'm static for a few days it will charge leisure batteries and van battery via separate charger, got solar useless in winter anyways chin up luv yer vids Always have a backup lol.😁

Put your tin kettle of water in front of the diesel heater outlet and by the time you feel like washing up the water should be warm enough 😉 or did i just discover the wheel? 😂

Vanlife allows you to live how you want, Ive been in the same spot for over 3 years now, travel never had anything to do with my decision, I just didnt want to be a money slave and I havent had to pay for registration or fuel for 3 years or deal with traffic and its secure, best of all it quiet. Noise from cars was the main thing I didnt like about street parking.

@ Hi try and see what Tool Mart have in their used section. You often find the inverter generators in their. I bought a 1700w one, carry on luggage size, quiet and you can pick it up ( still heavy.) That could power the chargers and a travel kettle, and then you can stick it in the back of the van once cool. Take care Mark.

I was walking the dog thru an area of really nice houses this morning, most people would be looking at the houses and admiring them etc... but i was checking out the vans on the drive lol, like yeah i could live in that!
The bigger your channel gets the less personal it becomes because of the huge amounts of comments. You have to decide if u want a big channel with a few quid in it it’s less personal or a wee channel no money but more personal. Looks like u will get to 10k subs soon so naturally more comments and impossible to read them all. Just see where the path takes u Mista, as long as your happy that’s all that matters.❤️🙏
I think Mark makes more effort than most channels to keep it personal. One good thing I’ve noticed is he hasn’t changed his content which sadly a lot of channels do a they grow it becomes more and more commercial and “fake”. The jokes disappear, the language changes and so on

End of the day it's about making some income isn't it though. I googled how much you make from views. If google is correct its £125 - £205 from 50,000 views. Also you dont make something from a view unless that person watches the whole video. Dunno if thats all totally true but if it is thats a lot of views and id wanna put time into the video even if it meant i gave fewer replies. I watch a few guys who just have a chat with the camera and few couples that make jazzier videos. i like both kinds of video. It looks hard to make cool videos but also stay personal.... 🤔
I watched one couple pit a video up after building their van, the first trip out they broke down with no money. They then started begging for money to get people to pay their repair bills and started a go fund me. That gives van life a bad name
