Love Laughlin! We got married on the banks of the Colorado River across the river at Davis Camp park and spent our first night married at the Belle, it was a really cool hotel! Oh and security was probably on you for recording, some casinos still have bans on recording for privacy reasons. I love this series, thanks for all the great memories!
Amy, you made me laugh out loud with the donut story. When I was married we vacationed a lot in Laughlin we loved the river, and had a seadoo to have fun on. So lots of fun memories there. But it has certainly changed. We would stay at the Flamingo with us now the Aquarius I guess. I had bad experience with the staff at Edgewater I even complained to their management after we got home. They couldn't have cared less, the managers were even rude, so that would never be a place I would stay again. Riverside resort was extremely smokey because of the cigarette smokers, but we would go to the movies a lot there. We also stayed at the Ramada across the street they had a little train that traveled around the hotel. Plus we spent a lot of time on the lake at Telephone Cove on the lake boating It was really fun when my sister and her then husband came along too with their seadoo. Happy fun memories! Anyway, just wanted you to know I have enjoyed your touring the hotels Pioneer has really changed, looks like rooms are much better! They had an all you can eat crab night of Fridays that was packed. The Belle was a really nice Casino. The restaurants that were up stairs had a rough go. The food was decent. They were just out of sight. The Boiler Room always seemed to have a line. I'm with you, I hope they do something with it. The rooms need a big refurbishment.
Great videos, a lot of people from California are considering moving to the Bullhead/Laughlin area. If you did some new home tours in the area at the open houses, I am sure they would get a ton of views!
Great video. I'm planning a trip to Laughlin next year (October to avoid the heat). Staying at the Hilton in Needles (Hilton Honors - free), but will park at the Edgewater to catch the London Bridge Jet Boat tour. I don't gamble, but Laughlin looks like fun. Do plan to make this an annual recurring event and will be staying at the Edgewater + Aquarius in the future...
