    Never use acetone on a silicone mold! It dulls the shine in the cavity so your charms wIll start coming out with a dull pitted surface and eventually the molds will just dry out and break. Use a bit of alcohol then wash with warm soapy water.

      Yup. Alcohol destroys it too.

    That’s a great idea. I’ve had those molds for about 10 years and I was about to throw them out … they are useful now 😊 thank you

      These also could work if you make jewellery, not just for nail art. Or for scrapbooking. Any place you'd want pretty delicate decorations and spend less.

    ☺👍 That plastic square block is used for silicone rubber stamps. You take the thin stamps and stick them to the block in whatever arrangement you want, then ink it and stamp onto paper.

    you should never use alcohol or acetone in Silicone molds. It will destroy them, Use a baby wipe to clean up instead.

    I bought so many silicone molds and from different sources but why do all my molds stay in the molds after being cured? ☹☹☹🙁🙁 I'm literally at my wits end and now i have a pile of molds with hardened gel all in them.

    • @Athenails
      @Athenails  2 года назад +1

      Are you curing it under the lamp?

    • @carolstewart1704
      @carolstewart1704 Год назад +2

      The gel is getting too hot when curing and fusing to the mold.. try ten seconds and/or further fm the uv light.. as soon as u can remove fm the mold and continue to cure the piece outside of the mold.. I hope that makes sense/helps 🫂💕

    Plz tell u said move away from lamp while molding fill so we should not dry this flower in lamp or dry in natural air?

    • @Athenails
      @Athenails  2 года назад +1

      So sorry. U add the mold under the lamp. The deeper the mold design the smaller amounts u add until it’s filled.

      Mine too huhu. I destroy my mold 💔

    • @Athenails
      @Athenails  2 года назад +1

      How did you apply it? The gel polish or lamp may be too strong on the mold.

    • @Athenails
      @Athenails  2 года назад +1

      You also have to put it under a uv or led lamp.

      How long will stay under the uv light?

    • @carolstewart1704
      @carolstewart1704 Год назад +2

      I understand your problem. I have these molds as well and have destroyed some.. the gel is fusing to the mold bc it gets too hot under the lamp.. try to cure for only ten seconds/further from the lamp and take them out as soon as they are able then finish curing outside of the mold to prevent this 🥲💕
