I love this comment. I fucking hate when they take this perspective and look back at the Attitude Era and the fun stuff as if it were appalling through their SJW/white knight/ soy boy (is that the term?) hindsight glasses. Kharma was fired from the WWE because she got pregnant. That whole incident after that was so stupid and sexist on vince's part. This is the second time a woman wrestler was released because they got pregnant, and after they gave birth, or in this case, Kharma had a miscarriage, that Vince played dirty with the storylines. Not a good way to use a talent when someone who lost their baby in a miscarriage.

Walking away from your career because you're unhappy with it isn't a bad way to go out. The "getting fired on your wedding day" is pretty shitty, but a) he got fired from a job he didn't want anymore and b) he could and still can write his own ticket at ROH/NJPW/Impact, etc. The only reason that's the end of his career is that he's letting it, and again leaving on your own terms isn't a bad way to go. Too many great names have gone through WWE and ended in tragedy or disgrace or crushed or fizzled out or just generally failed by the company. The Hart brothers, CM Punk, Benoit, Eddie Guerrero, Billy Gunn, Crash Holly, Test, Chyna, Lita to name a few who deserved much much better than what they got, it becomes frustrating just thinking about it. These people truly deserved better and can't help but feel working for WWE is an absolute nightmare full of petty politics and corporate psychopaths.
I met Charles Wright when working at the Adventuredome Theme Park at Circus Circus - Las Vegas (1993/94) when he was a guest and I told him I liked the Papa Shango character better than the Godfather one but he said that Godfather went over better.
When will we accept mental health and drug deaths as those actions of a diseased person? Not at all unlike those with physiological illnesses. But WWE has a plush carpet to sweep those under.
I've always felt bad for Eddie Guerrero. I watched his first episode of Smackdown in 2000 and remember how his elbow as in a place where an elbow ought not be, and Road Dogg jumping him for a mercy pin. Not only did this sideline Guerrero for months, but it ruined that evening's storyline and an entire pay-per-view buildup. To WWE's credit, they did their best to maintain his momentum, but between the 2000 incident and a car crash in 1999, the damage was done and he couldn't get by without painkillers.
And her in ring career lasted 12 years (she had her 1st match at 13 in a tag match with her mother) and since she is still working on tv, her career technically isn’t over. That would be like saying teddy long’s career ended when he stopped being referee and became a manager or when he stopped being a manger and became a kayfabe booker on tv (ie general manager of smackdown).
You forgot about Magnum ta his in ring career ended because of a car accident, and Johnny Valentine crippled in a plane crash. Not to mention Harley Race suffering a career ending neck injury on a botched table spot vs Hulk Hogan on Saturday night's main event
Glad Owen was #1. His passing actually got me into wrestling back then. The memorial Raw they put together after he died got me to like and respect everyone on the roster.
Alright now that I've watched the video, you have to switch Hassan and Droz. Hassan left in full health. Droz is a paraplegic. There really is no question whose career ended in the worse way.
Man Owen Hart and Droz are hard ones to relive :-( . The Attitude era was my era and Droz coulda done alot more but Owen dying also having never been a world champion is a bitter pill to swallow 😭
John Buccola true but the send off was pathetic. Even if it was kayfabe. You got one of the best female wrestlers the company has ever had and you basically humiliate her to make room for useless Barbies like the twins and Alicia Fox? That's beyond stupid.
J B the current divas aren't ussless they're just not being use right like the attitude era divas. I mean I'm 12 but my daddy show me the attitude era and I love it wish Vince could bring the attitude era back oh no wait that ain't gonna happen.
I mean, I know Bruiser Brody wasn't JUST a WWE guy and he wasn't working for them when it happened but I think "stabbed to death in a shower" beats "had a gimmick that didn't age well" or "had a bad final match" by a long shot.
TDP4 Playa Fuck Stink. He's never been loyal or did anything good for WWE. He's lucky they let him return on a Brock Lesner like schedule and make tons of money.
Never been loyal? He was one of the most loyal dudes in the history of wrestling. He stayed with WCW through to the bitter end. He stayed with TNA/Impact long past the point anyone would have expected it of him. Loyal? That man invented the word.
RUSSIAN BOT #1342013 not loyal? hes the one who carroed and stayed at wcw he stayed there until it died, he was also called mr.wcw and he lifted tna behind his back throughout his runs and has been loyal. The reason why sting didnt accomplish anything in wwe because vince has a big ego over wcw but sting has accomplishments hes a 15 time world champion, 7 time wcw champion 6 time tna champion and 2 time nwa world champion so if he would have won at night of champions he would have tied ric flairs record so and he has a lot more accomplishments. Idk why the fuck they made triple h win over sting when triple h is no where around stings league or level
also dixie even stated, Sting was on a yearly contract and every year Sting renewed and brought life to the locker room. Watch his tna hof and how so many wrestlers enjoyed seeing and having sting in the locker room. im sure if tna had an internet base reality show showing the locker room stuff everyone would be around sting having a good time. Sting carried wcw when they were also in orlando to the bitter end when he was the last wrestler to do a promo for WCW. Sting is the model example of how to be a veteran in the wrestling business. he never demanded anything, he never spoke out of term, and never posted his issues in his later years online for anyone to see.
Tell that to the Fayetteville police department. They're the ones who made the call. And unfortunately for conspiracytards like you, that's the call we have to go by.
Lita was so cool that she bravely faced Chyna. But people began hating Lita after her sickening story with Kane. When she turned heel with Edge that when Edge wrestled Cena in a TLC WWE championship match in his own home town, people cheered Edge very much, but when came to help him then along with her the people started booing Edge after that!
Went to school with Matt (Rosey). A genuine human being! He is truly missed by all that were fortunate to have known him! Johnny
Droz still maintains a cheery demeanor and blames neither D-Lo nor the WWE for his accident. That is class.
yeah, i'm just glad that not many people actually blamed d-lo for that. just a freak accident.
I actually watched that match. I think D-Lo was just as shattered by it.
He is a class act.
A quadriplegic will likely never step foot in the ring again? Really Simon. A quadriplegic will likely never step anywhere again.
D Bone I’m going to hell im laughing so hard 😂😂😂
That's exactly what I thought when he said it
Poor Droz. His career ended by an extreme accident that was nobody's fault but it sucked for me.
And the fact that it was ranked underneath a character actor losing his new job before reverting back to teaching in terms of worst ways for a career to end.
There are some amazing therapies available now. He might be able to walk again. In lab studies they've severed the spinal cord of rats and regrew the it. This technology is now being experimented on in some people.

Daniel Bryan's problem was concussions, not his neck. He is able to wrestle again, but they are monitoring him VERY closely.
I miss Edge so much. The dude was so charismatic and was almost always involved in the best storylines. I haven’t watched WWE for a while now.
He got a long run as the company's top heel and world champion so it really wasn't that tragic.
Anyone remember Test?!

Lita's send off should off been a better one,i know she was a heel but that was bit low that script
laura hughes She didn't care. She wanted out. WWE wanted supposedly to give her a way back in. But, with her still being harassed every where she went. She wanted whatever they could give her.
I think Droz should be number two on this list. Number two since I do agree with WhatCulture putting Owen Hart as the number one pick
1. Owen Hart
2. Chris Benoit
3. Droz

Career endings must hurt when you know you put your whole life and dedication into this business.
Off the top of my head...
Bret Hart. Owen Hart. Sting. Chris Benoit.
Seth Rollins ended Stings career, but the WWE would like to sweep that little fact under the rug.

I met Charles Wright when working at the Adventuredome Theme Park at Circus Circus - Las Vegas (1993/94) when he was a guest and I told him I liked the Papa Shango character better than the Godfather one but he said that Godfather went over better.
Chris Benoit, Eddie Guerrero, Brian Pillman...
When will we accept mental health and drug deaths as those actions of a diseased person? Not at all unlike those with physiological illnesses. But WWE has a plush carpet to sweep those under.
No Tyson Kidd? He almost had the same fate as Droz. That was a trip to see in person
I ❤️Lita so much it sucks how her time with WWE ended. I also remember going to school the day after Owen Hart had passed away.
I wish the guy who narrated this video did all the WhatCulture videos. He’s by far the most tolerable imo.
Make a part two to this including enzo amore, paige, chris benoit, sting and other.
jeremiah bell Enzo was a scumbag that brought it on himself.
Yeah, Sting's ending was pathetic. It was a case of knowing when to retire and stay retired.
The Lita one really pissed me off
just picture if Rosey was still alive, returned to the WWE only to manage a HEEL Roman Reigns!
The worst ending to all WWE careers is their beginning
I'm still pretty livid about Lita's final months in the company.
Lita rocked. To me she will always be the best
No Psycho Sid Justice/Vicious compound fracture? Shocking, but glad I didn't have to blow chunks.
Steve Hunt that was in WCW..
What about Paige? Out of all ways to retire, she had to at a live event at 25 years old!
SyupendousStufful101 she still has a wwe career.
Im sure paige would return just lik daniel bryan
CamaroAmx or not like edge, hbk, and stone cold
She may not fake wrestle anymore but her porn potential is skyrocketing! Bet Vivid would sign her in a second
You forgot about Magnum ta his in ring career ended because of a car accident, and Johnny Valentine crippled in a plane crash. Not to mention Harley Race suffering a career ending neck injury on a botched table spot vs Hulk Hogan on Saturday night's main event
What about The Undertaker? Even though he didn't really retire, but he had to lose to the biggest douchebag in WWE history.
Glad Owen was #1. His passing actually got me into wrestling back then. The memorial Raw they put together after he died got me to like and respect everyone on the roster.
The ding ding thing is so annoying
Benoit, Eddie, Hitman, Chyna, etc?
I’ve had the biggest crush on Lita since I was like 3
Like Marlene Dietrich.. ageless sex appeal
Calvin Gardner Lita has always been sexy
SHE IS A SLUT
Alright now that I've watched the video, you have to switch Hassan and Droz. Hassan left in full health. Droz is a paraplegic. There really is no question whose career ended in the worse way.
Bro you look like johny sins😆😆
I thought Eddie G. would be #2 his passing away suddenly in 05' had a tremendous impact on WWE and Fan's because it was so unexpected.
I liked Lita no matter what was going on behind the scenes.....pretty and highly skilled, she more than deserved her place in WWE.....
The Godfather is 1 of the best things about the WWF Attitude Era though Lol.
For real. Always came with the vibes
Lita should have been number 1 on the list. Left me speechless
I think most people would take their panties being sold off on TV over dying...
Lita shouldn't have been on the list. Chyna was done alot dirtier than Lita. Lita is in Hall of Pain. Chyna should be there already.
gamelvr1 Bitch calm down its only a comment. Owen Hart career ended when he was forced to do that stupid blue blazer gimmick
whats funny he actually started his WWE career in that Blue Blazer gimmick.
Michael Marriott damn didn't know that
Lita was awesome. A true talent.
I'm not trying to be mean to Lita but to be fair her departure was quite funny. 😂
Why you gotta be so mean...
Man Owen Hart and Droz are hard ones to relive :-( . The Attitude era was my era and Droz coulda done alot more but Owen dying also having never been a world champion is a bitter pill to swallow 😭
I stopped watching WWE for a while after Lita got that shit.
Edge's heel run in 2005-2006 with slutty Lita is what got me watching again. I always thought she was boring as hell as a face.
John Buccola true but the send off was pathetic. Even if it was kayfabe. You got one of the best female wrestlers the company has ever had and you basically humiliate her to make room for useless Barbies like the twins and Alicia Fox? That's beyond stupid.
well she did matt wrong by being a cheating whore so karma is a bitch.
Matt intentionally told her to stop talking to edge but she kept on.
J B the current divas aren't ussless they're just not being use right like the attitude era divas. I mean I'm 12 but my daddy show me the attitude era and I love it wish Vince could bring the attitude era back oh no wait that ain't gonna happen.
Matt is Victim of Sinners (Lita and Edge)
Chyna is Victim of Sinners (Triple H and Stephanie McMahon, McMahon Family)
I mean, I know Bruiser Brody wasn't JUST a WWE guy and he wasn't working for them when it happened but I think "stabbed to death in a shower" beats "had a gimmick that didn't age well" or "had a bad final match" by a long shot.
JBL
Lita's retirement was awful. One of the worst I've ever seen
laughinjack wrestling reviews
OMG, stop talking about Lita. She deserved it. Move on
where is sting in this list?
TDP4 Playa
Fuck Stink.
TDP4 i'm sure that was HHH own doing. Im sure sting didn't even complain.
Nr 9 will be Kurt Angle vs Baron Corbin
Chris Benoit?
when u click on the video and Simons voice comes on *praise the lord*
Chris Benoit
Murdered his wife and kid. Thanks for playing. But you get no participation trophies.
Chris benoit family members were murdered by other wrestler and the cops didnt do anything but blame chris benoit
Tell that to the Fayetteville police department. They're the ones who made the call. And unfortunately for conspiracytards like you, that's the call we have to go by.
Crispen wah?
Chris Benoit had mental issues I don't think his would count
Lita was so cool that she bravely faced Chyna. But people began hating Lita after her sickening story with Kane. When she turned heel with Edge that when Edge wrestled Cena in a TLC WWE championship match in his own home town, people cheered Edge very much, but when came to help him then along with her the people started booing Edge after that!
CM PUNK
Sambit Mishra He willing left.
hegot fired on his wedding day right when he was considering returning
Anthony D just like you
He left on his own terms, that doesn't count.
He walked out while under contract. His firing's timing was awful, but it was inevitable under the circumstances.
I had the absolute Hots for Lita.. it doesn't help that a woman moved into my town, brunette, that looks exactly like Lita. God Damn
I met this girl in College that looked like Lita.
WWE should sign a contract and bring back Muhammad Hassan. I want him back in WWE
The Boondocks no
The Boondocks he's the best heel ever.
Poison cuz he was, is, and will always be the best heel ever...
Poison why
Night Prowler ikr
Buff Bagwell has some short arms. My god.
I'm so sad for alexa and Carmella
I hope you know the reason why
Alexa Bliss FAN why?
why?
Why
Why? Hit us with a "here's why"
Next year 20 anniversary of Owen's passing. Still feels unreal thinking about it.
