  • Welcome to this exciting RUclips video where we'll take you on a sailing adventure to Fraser Island, one of Australia's most beautiful destinations.
Our journey begins with a peaceful sail on crystal clear waters, surrounded by stunning natural scenery. As we approach the island, we catch a glimpse of its unique flora and fauna, including the famous Fraser Island dingoes. These wild dogs are a protected species and a sight to behold as they roam free on the island.
We then anchor our boat and start our hike towards Lake McKenzie, a breathtaking freshwater lake surrounded by white sand beaches and lush rainforest. As we walk along the beach, we encounter an unexpected surprise: millions of tiny crabs creating unique sand. It's a fascinating sight to see so many crabs in one place!
After a short hike, we finally reach Lake McKenzie, and the view is absolutely stunning. The crystal-clear water is so inviting, and we can't resist taking a dip. We spend some time swimming and relaxing on the beach, taking in the beautiful scenery.
Overall, our trip to Fraser Island was an unforgettable experience, filled with breathtaking views and unique wildlife encounters. We hope you enjoyed coming along on our journey, and we can't wait to share more adventures with you in the future!

That was a fair hike. Impressive. We go to Fraser every September. It's one of my favourite places. Great dingo advice at the beginning too. Be alert not alarmed.

I LOVED my "time" on Fraser Island as well... The stuff about the dingos was very interesting and the beach at the lake was beautiful but my favourite part of course was when I could not stop laughing when you showed the little crabs and their little crab voices as they ran for cover and down into the sand at the giant's approach... that truly was hilarious.

Your photography skills are pretty impressive, Lindy (or Dustin or whoever's responsible). I don't know how you managed to get some of those shots but they certainly add to the enjoyment of watching your videos. Glad no one got attacked by dingoes.

7:34 laughing kookaburra! They are native to eastern Australia, there are five other species of kookaburras found in northern Australia and New Guinea.

That was great. Thank you. Btw, you sound like you’re saying Frasier Island, rather than Fraser. Is that just an accent difference or did u just forget? Just curious…

I have dyslexia, and it's hard to hear the different sounds in words.
