Brian, If you could only have one of these Vacs, which one would you get?

Too much nonsensical talk instead of just getting to the point of providing information. I’m not looking at Festool YT videos to be entertained. I just need information so I can make an informed decision. Its almost 5 minutes before you even start giving information.

I'd probably have your energy if I was sanding with one of those puppies. Haha one day. I once added a led track to my sanding pole head. Needless to say it was as good as it was bad. Great video guys.

    Note:
The bags for the new Bluetooth Midi do not fit the old Midi with the analog dials.
    Be careful when ordering replacements.

I have ct midi. Is it comparable with the 36mm hose?

Just bought the Midi... Fantastic... But it really should come with a brush in the "cleaning kit" - it's the only real way to clean down tools and your work bench. But have to say, the additional Bluetooth module is fantastic for clean-up or when not using the auto-on for tools.

Using a sander on drywall plugged into my ct48ac - when hose would touch my leg, I’d feel static. I tucked the bag in and am sure the top and tub contacts are connected. Any ideas?

Only reason I sometimes will empty bags is I keep the sawdust for cleaning spills and as a sweeping dust control when wet.
But I do it outside with a mask on.
Sawdust works great for oil spills in the garage when working on the truck or car.

can you answer if i can use midi on a small wall patches, we painters deal with a lot of different dust and can't fit multiple extractors in the vehicle, special caring the ct 36 ac on small stairways in people's houses just for nail hole patches and a few tapes.
i don't understand why everyone says ct sys vac is for painters, that bag clogs fast and it makes weird noise trying to auto clean but still loses a lot of suction.

Can I upgrade my CT 22 to add bluetooth capability? I can't justify replacing the unit.

I have the CT-26E I got the WiFi remote about 3 years ago, I put the remote on the hose end, I love it for cleaning up with the wand, I’ve never seen the CT22, they say it will fit all CT models if not I think you’ll need to talk to your dealer.

The Festool BT module does not work with the older Mini, Midi, orCT22 or 33 .

@@srsemenza4376 Thanks. I didn't think I could add the module to my old dust collector. It is old but still works perfectly.

You're just a day late on the bluetooth remote decommission procedure! I got a second CTVac yesterday, and spent an hour trying to figure out how to 'decommission' one of my remotes so i could bind it to the new CTVac. Even after i eventually found the instructions for the procedure, where i was failing was i didn't really just how long you have to hold down those two buttons! An amazingly long period of time. I guess it's set that long so that they don't accidentally get triggered.

just a question about the extractors,... Would you recommend using the (574866) CT 15l Hepa class extractor on the CAPEX with a 36mm duct hose? Brad from Sydney Australia

I have a 6 year old CT36 and love it. The only negative is that the upper black plastic housing has been cracking and breaking as you pull the unit around by grabbing the front.edge. Is there an expected life for the plastic housing or did I get one that the plastic was not thick enough to take this use?

Hi guys, I had a question in regards to the festool extractor, I'm located in Europe and as such all my tools (festool included) are 110v and are plugged into a transformer. I'm currently running my extractor and tool on a 3k transformer however I was recently told I should be using a 5k transformer. Is that true?
If so the 5k transformers over here have two 110v outlets and one larger one.
Is it recommended to change the plug on my extractor to the larger one?
    Cheers

I own a midi unit and I use it to cleanup my house quite a lot as my house vac even though I own a famous , D- brand vacuum too. Have you guys ever considered making a house vac? I mean you make such good units. I know you make mostly tools and vac for construction but why not.

@@julianweiser9985 why bother though if the can make one. Several of the other tool companies has released at least a hand vac. Just saw an actual household Ryobi unit at HD recently and I was shocked because I never knew it even existed.

Festool should make a power nozzle. Comes with wand, rug beater head, POWERED by the plug on the vacuum so you turn it on and off by turning on the attachment itself. I would use a Festool in my house with one of those.
