Trying Cardi B's Onion Juice Method for Hair Growth

- Welcome back to another video! In this video I tried Cardi B's hair growth method-Onion Juice! I definitely saw great results and I highly recommend trying if you want to grow long, healthy hair. For the next 3 months I'll continue using onion juice for my hair and compare the results to show you all later!
What you'll need:
1. An onion
2. Honey
3. Water
4. Small/medium pot
5. Sifter
6. Bowl (to store onion juice)
7. A cutting board + cutting knife
8. Plastic shower cap
9. Hair dryer (not necessary, but preferred)
Onion Juice Ingredients:
1. An onion - I used half
2. 2 tablespoons of honey
3. 1 cup of water- you can add more depending on how much onion juice you want.
Steps
1. Use a cutting board and a knife to cut the onion into medium slices.
2. Boil a small pot of water on the stove. Once the water is boiled, place the chopped onions inside for about 12 minutes, or until you are able to put a fork through the onion slices.
3.Use a sifter and a fork to press out any additional juice from the onion over a bowl.
4. Pour the onion juice from the pot into the same bowl (as described in step 3).
5. Let the onion juice cool down before applying to your scalp CAUTION YOU WILL BURN YOUR SCALP IF YOU DIRECTLY APPLY THE ONION JUICE AFTER BOILING!!
6. Once the onion juice has cooled down, apply onion juice to all sections of your hair.
7. Place a plastic cap over your hair to keep the moisture in.
8. Wear the plastic cap for about 15 minutes- I highly recommend sitting under the hair dryer
9. Rinse onion juice and apply shampoo and conditioner after.
10. Style hair.

When I do mine I boiled the onions with orange peels,cloves and it smells like orange. If you want to,you can add ginger. For the smell you can also add rosemary leaves🙃 it doesn’t smell bad.🍊🍊🍊

I altered it, I blend 1 red onion and 1 yellow onion together with a little water. Strain, then mix it with Fenugreek powder and Alma powder. Let it sit on my scalp for one hour. Wash and rinse as usual. Fenugreek is da truth.
Tincture. Braid it into cornrows and leave it over night if you can or under a protective style. The syringe from the tincture keeps control and also makes sure you don’t use too much so you don’t throw up your hair ph and use a shampoo without sulfates

To mask the smell just add rosemary leaves and a few drops of tea tree oil after boiling the onions… let it sit and the strong onion smell will be gone

It's better to put the onions inna juicer or blend then strain the juice with cheesecloth or a hemp nut milk bag. I got my hemp bag on Amazon.

@@mimivee5494 yes the processes like I described require no boiling, either juicing or blending, and then the straining is necessary, it will separate the fiber from the juice and not get little bits in your hair.
There are still benefits to boiling though. Nutrients will transfer to the water and there are less steps. Whichever method you go with though, be prepared to "de-onion," whatever you use washing more than once to get the onion taste or smell out but it's also not as hard as it sounds and it's worth it.
Yellow onions are my go to for the most sulfur which is what makes the magic happen. 🧅
No you boil it my coworker which is a guy been told me about onion he said his grandmother use it to grow her hair.shen use it like she conditioning. She like set on her hair 15to20 min.Then she shampoo and condition for hair. He said his grandmother hair grew and it was thick. 👍🏿
YUP! I created an AMAZING oil utilizing this method (I use it daily). I greenhouse each night YUP I do! I have been hard-core protective styling with oth my 8 cornrows (extensions-free). When I went to redo each of my cornrows yesterday, my hair grew two inches since February 4! I did not wash my hair yesterday. I washed and treated it on March 11 when i redid the cornrowswhen i redid the cornrows from Feb 4.

You burned your hair try taking the thumb to the spray hole and you index finger to you scalp give it 1 spray them run your fimgers through so the brush doesn't fry your hair
This WORKS. I MASK the smell with lemon juice and peppermint oil. My friend likes to use aloe vera juice.
I wear Google's and do it outside on back porch as well.

Honestly I tried Cardi Bs other hair mask it does work not the onion but another one my hair grew super fast and really long in the span of two months so I trust her tips
