Great design, but I have to ask what about the Archers who have a long draw length and have preferred a 27" riser and long limbs, is there an option to suit these Archers?

Brady is absolutely correct about arrows tuning at certain SPEEDS, not POUNDAGE - because virtually every bow has different draw force curves and levels of efficiency etc.

I love the new and old Hoyt products. This is a very informative video. I'd never thought about a down side to lighter risers. For my husband though, He likes them because of his age and injuries. As he gets into his 60"s, his poundage is going down so he's not stressing ANY risers for sure. Steve, this is tongue in cheek but you could market the Xakt riser not only as a starter riser, but as a tapering riser....or a terminal riser. .......lol. Thank you guys for keeping up the Olympic standards.
I believe Doug and Brady handled this video with no problem. They are so humble and personable. True recurve nerds.

What I would love to see as a comparison, is Darrel Pace Comparing the new one to the bow he shot his Olympic Records with?

Just out of curiosity. My old 2006 Hoyt Matrix riser has the grip lower than my modern Hoyt Arcos riser. The Matrix is about 5/16 of and inch lower from the top limb pivot to the plunger button centerline than the Arcos riser. That being said is this a rework of an older design?

What you are doing is making each archer his own bowyer! Is that, a good idea?

    $850.
For that kind of money it should come with a lap dance and a bucket of 10's.

Sorry guys, But no thanks! They new Colour's are UGLY! What about the anodised
Colours? They are beautiful! Why change them?
At the price this is, you ought to provide self choice of anodised colours!
Personally I Would love an Xi in deep EMERALD Green?
These colours are dull and pastey!

I have to admit that the more I look at it the better it gets, but the paint still worries me as I have had a bow in the past, (not Hoyt) that would chip paint just for looking at it! Many years ago, but these concerns tend to stick with you! Which is more than that paint did! 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬😭😭😭😭🇬🇧

These risers are Cerakote, which is much stronger than anodized or powder-coated paint.

The limb pocket dampers have the same effect of waves on a beach! As a wave comes in it is stopped by the previous wave hitting it on its way back! That is how the vibration is stopped!
