Here in the US, I ALWAYS tell deer "parents" like this to mark them with BRIGHT ORANGE during hunting season, if the deer wander. Otherwise, they have no way to know it is a family's deer. If they came ONTO her property and killed him, that is 100% THEIR fault and arrogance. Otherwise, if she knew he wandered, she should have protected him better 😢

I am so sorry for your loss. That "hunter" isn't ethical; seeing a deer with 3 legs should have been a clue that Rudie was a pet ! Even here in Texas, where we have a plethora of white tail deer, that jerk would be punished.

Trudie was a sweetheart of a deer. Everything he went through he did with dedication and, a strong determination. His Mom saw him every step of the way and, Loved him with all her heart then a SICKO HUNTER comes along and, takes his life!!! I hope he is found and, the same he did to the sweet fur baby should be done to him .😢😢😢
