I have been on a McGills vehicle once before and I wouldn't really recommend them as a company. The 2 main directors of the company are the Easdale brothers Sandy and James - both are corrupt as the day is long. Both are known bullies and don't really treat any of their staff well. Sandy had shares in Rangers at one point, don't know if he still has but the Ibrox club could well do without the likes of him or his brother. I would take Stagecoach ahead of McGills any day of the week.
The 576, 578, 901 and 906 services all terminate at Main Street, Largs (outside the Bagel Basket). They then use the mini roundabout at the old M&Co to turn and commence the return journey outside Largs train station.
This is a route fairly local to me, thanks for covering it :) I would recommend another journey involving Largs, and that is the 585 route by Stagecoach from Largs to Ayr. That one is most very nostalgic for me.

You should do across from the Largs ferry Millport Motors 320 service from Cumbrae Slip to Millport Pier
