- Day markers are used along navigatable waterways to indicate the channel depths for commercial traffic the green day markers indicate deeper water while red indicates shallower water. The green day markers are good places to look when fishing for blue catfish.

As a guy who watches a limited amount of RUclips channels I find my self skipping through videos. But with your videos, I never seem to skip through it. You always have great videos.
NEW VIDEO! WOOHOO! Also, as a guy who tends to get over excited catching little catfish (because that's all I tend to catch) I appreciate the words of not taking the size of catfish for granted. Also also, big fish or little fish, I don't care, I just enjoy watching your vids dude. If you're hesitant to post vids because you feel the content isn't there because the fish are too small, don't. You post it I watch it. Love your stuff Steve!
Great information Steve. Enjoyed it very much. Thanks for teaching. Fish on!
I love watching Steve & Haegen Grubb! 2 Kentucky boys that are so full of information and knows how to get it done!
Awesome to see vids coming again. And as always great info. Thank you Steve
Man....I love that you’re able to find some time to make videos again. I learned sooo much from you when I first got into catching catfish and making YT videos. Can’t thank you enough....Thanks brother!!

After not seeing you for awhile while you were growing your business, which I am a customer it’s good to see you, I am finding my way through the Ohio in Western Pa and I love the tips. Thank you Steve.
Those are great sized fish. My 12 year old loves catching them that size. Nothing better than seeing the excitement of him reeling one in.... Thanks for the video!
The best video out there on how to suspend drift for catfish👍 great job
Nice rig Steve, I grabbed 6 Monster Rod Holders this year, excellent business, excellent product.
Steve, I really enjoy your videos. I'm primarily a crappie fisherman. My son is 18 and likes to catfish, so we fish for catfish several times a year. I have subscribed to quite a few RUclips fishing channels over the years, but I'd unsubscribed to most of them, not because they don't catch fish, or not that I don't learn something from them, it's because of their attitude. You seem like a down to earth, humble guy and that's my style. Keep on making the good videos.
Monster rod holders, best dam rod holders a man's dollar can buy!! Always enjoy watching the catfish dude do what he does best!
Hey Steve, Nice video. Always enjoy what you share. Thank you.

Absolutely amazing scenery
Very informative my friend I’m trying to learn!
Awesome Buddy ..I like your videos
Love this footage
Awesome keep them coming mercy please
I hate feeding the trolls but I couldn’t imagine. Spending all this time to make and edit a video. To share my years of experience and tips with people for so little thumbs up. This man is a legend. Hopefully people will wake up and start supporting people who do this.
great vidoes dude, ben a fan for years
Awesome boat awesome video
That's a nice bottom set!
The part to remember is that not everyone lives in an area with access to the big rivers and such. Most of my fishing was in farm ponds where catching much of anything over a pound and a half was just cause to take pictures to show all your friends at school.
Is there day markers on most big rivers becouse I never seen them before good fishing videos steve you give a lot of info and tips and you have good southern hospitality.
Great video steve. And lots of great information.
I love your boat. I remember when you got your boat.
I love those Cat Maxx reels too, all I use
Great video
Nice boat, I like it
That's a nice boat you got rightthere
I got one of your rod holders..... Didn't know you made them.
Killer boat if I might add that! Carolina where I fish!
WHEN I GOT THE NOTIFICATION I PUSHED MY GLASSES UP AND GOT MY PEN AND PAD READY.
You Rock!!!
Classic suspended takedowns. What got me into the sport. I love that boat!
Wonderful
we don't have skipjack where i fish was wondering if you had any thoughts on giving them a try i like your ways of catching them bigguns
What part of the ohio do you fish? I live in westpoint ky right on the river. Have you fished near here and if so how did it turn out
hello from the cool ozarks steve! hows your automatic trotline working and where can i get one? tight lines and cheers!!
My silver and blues should be here any day!!
Glad to see ya on the ohio river again
Red markers on the east side, green on west. Red to the right when returning from sea
Does drift fishing for big cats seem to work as well in lakes and reservoirs as it does on rivers? I fish Southern Missouri and Northern Arkansas clear water lakes, mainly Norfork Lake near Mountain Home Ark. Max depth is 178 ft at normal pool. Has a lot of deep holes that run along rock bluffs, with rocky bottoms. Could you recommend some good tactics for this kind of water?
If drifting for eater size fish and pulling it 3-4 ft off the bottom will it cause you to miss fish on the bottom? I have drift fished for years and always wanted to feel it drag the bottom but I do get hung up alot. lol. Love your channel!
Great video Steve glad to see you fishing again, what kind and size of hooks are using
#9's
I’m still using the same rod holders I bought 5 years ago.
How are the new catmaxx reels holding up
Hello Mr Douglas . have you ever was blue gill for bait
How do you go about finding mussel beds ?
I’ve asked for years to fish with you. Just for a couple hours! I love your videos and your fishing. I’d pay your gas expense, bait and everything just to fulfill a flathead catch this life.
I’ve used Dale’s Guide Service in Cincinnati and caught some nice flatheads with him. Dale has been using that Northwest boat for years. I wouldn’t be surprised at all if Steve got his after seeing Dale’s. There is also River Certified in Iowa. I’ve only seen Spencer on RUclips but I’d go fishing with him anytime.
@@rickkopfler8447 thank you for the reply. I’ll check him out
I take it that the bow is pointed up current and your drifting down current? Looks like this can be a right effective method.
I do the same thing with the markers I'm from florida I fish the apalachicola river
You ever drop a 5-6lb carb or anything to see if a giant will hit? Glad you're able to expand the business!
Would love to see what would happen! I've heard of guy's throwing up to 1-1.5lb carp for flatties
