I actually did run away from home. I didn't come back. And a week later the police found me under a bridge and they basically dragged me back to my house. I left because of actual reasons. My family was abusing me. So I just left. This little girl left because she got her little play toy taken away. What a reason to leave, Jesus. I wish I had that reason instead of the hands I was dealt with in life.

Only takes a few seconds for someone to drive by her and take her 😣 and mom would be too far away to do anything about it. And she was in the street, someone coming up the hill out not paying attention or on their phone could have hit her. So many scenarios. So glad she got home safe.

Many kids who run away don’t really have a plan. They just want to be alone for a while. Then they realize “I’m not very well equipped to do this plan.”
I Remember whenever I use to do this as a kid, I would take my backpack and pack my blue power ranger toy thinking that’s all I need to survive. This is great parenting. Let them experience, explore and test boundaries while keeping them safe.
Great mom? Damn lucky predators didn’t scoop her in a van and auction her off on the dark web. You think this is a joke. The girl was a quarter of a mile too damn far from the mom. The mom wouldn’t have any time to protect her child. Not to mention when her daughter gets older she might run away again and this time know exactly where to go
@@Gen3ralGrimReaperare you retarded? most kidnappings aren’t just “some kid gets scooped up!” It’s usually someone the kid knows or was manipulated by. predators aren’t prowling the streets for kids on their own anymore.

Couldn't leave home without the Bluey ears 😭
When she came back the first time I would tell her, “ I am glad you came back.”
My daughter did the same when she was around 3, I told go ahead. She packed her little bag, opened the door noticed that it was starting to get dark, she looked back at me. Stated, I'll run away tomorrow. I said ok and that ended her temper tantrum and never said again about running from home! 😂😂
😂😂😂
I’ll run away tomorrow 😂
Why would you let her go that far knowing there's traffic I mean seriously
Tomorrow 😅😅😅😂😂😂😂
Who knew fols schedule when they will run away!
My oldest did some thing similar. He said he didn’t love or need me any more, and he was leaving. I said ok, bye. He went to his room and gathered a few things in his back pack and went to the front door. He said he was ready to go. I said go where? He replied Grandmas. I asked him how he was going to get there. He said I was going to drive him. I said, “I thought you didn’t need me any more.” He burst into tears and said I do need you, and I love you daddy. He never tried any BS like that again. Today he is a Naval Officer in the US Navy submarine service.
Good story
He never tried open the hatch and run away from the sub?
So why didn't you drive him to Grandma's house? I would've sent him because obviously he needs space. Sometimes I would ride the other school bus to my grandma's house especially when I needed space from my mom because we used to fight a lot.
@@SheenaJizelle it’s not like they denied him, he himself started crying and told him that he loves his dad, and also we don’t know the whole exact episode so it’s better to not comment that way

important note is that she always kept an eye on her as she was walking away. can't have the kids running the house. mom stood her ground as a parent and taught her daughter a valuable lesson in a safe manner. her daughters smile at the end was beautiful. loved that she understood the humor in it
Oh definitely without a doubt! You let her go but you DEFINITELY don't "let her go".
Would have been a boring video if she didn’t.
Helicopter parenting is good parenting.
Only takes a few seconds for someone to drive by her and take her 😣 and mom would be too far away to do anything about it. And she was in the street, someone coming up the hill out not paying attention or on their phone could have hit her. So many scenarios. So glad she got home safe.
Yes and I feel the mother trust her hood and you can see it’s a family community there is only house and a lot of space
So funny. Love the determination of that little girl. She knows she is loved which is the most important lesson of all. ❤
The look of defeat on her face when she came back is priceless. A good and wholesome teaching moment.
not really it just made her think her parents dont care if she leaves them.
Yes, the prodigal baby!
@@hdajq892ey7Nothing of the sort. Children need boundaries and this was a masterstroke by her mama. The little girl will know she's loved by the care she receives from her parents incl, clothes she's got on; the food she eats; the water she has access to etc etc.
@@Christopher_J That mother doesn't care at all. She did this for fun, not for teaching boundaries. She only shaming the kid for trying to defend herself from something unseen the girl perceived as painful; we don't know what it was.
That girl is likely abused by her mother.
@@hdajq892ey7 yup, I feel like, without knowing a backstory, she wanted her mom to come after her to actually show she cared. Which is very normal for kids to do. Instead she had to walk her way back alone with her mom waiting by the door cackling with her phone in her hand. Now she knows her mom is not going to come for her, which hurt her trust in her. I feel so so bad for this girl. And I hate people saying this is how you „teach a lesson“… a lesson in how little your parents care about you, yes.

My daughter did this when she was six. It was dark outside so my husband went and hid behind some cars to keep a watchful eye on her as she set out on her trek to God knows where.
