OMG! My Bday is the same day as yours! So cool. I'm so envious about your shopping trip but truly excited that you got such great stuff!! I'm going to Spain for my Birthday next year so if you have any recommendations, please let me know. I love your videos and your knitting!! Hugs from Texas - so we're neighbors too!

AHHH I've never met someone with the same b-day as me! I did an incredible free walking tour in the old part of the city at was amazing and I would highly recommend. Also visiting the Sagrada Familia was definitely worth it. There are sites with ancient ruins that are free to enter and super interesting! I hope that's helpful :)

What a wonderful memory you created with your friend. Just a suggestion, a Musselburgh Hat is great pattern to use up one skein.

Thank you for the suggestion, after seeing your comment I started seeing the Musselburgh hat everywhere and will definitely make on at some point!!!

Fingerless mitts are great for on skein, there are many free patterns on ravelry. You could also do a tea or coffee cosy, or house slippers. Use the scraps to make frog different sweaters 🙈

I've never made one myself, but I've heard that you can make a vest top out of one skein of fingering weight yarn (e.g. the ones by Jessie Maed designs)
