I would agree with that my friend! The money is just not out there to afford the higher priced automobiles! Great comment! I appreciate you being a viewer!
I with you on the 67 Ranchero. I really like the body style of the 67, and this one looks like it’s been well cared for. And for being in such good shape, the price is right.
Fav: Ranchero ... if it had a third pedal. so... MGB. I think they were called Le Mans, kit on the front end. Strange paint, a form drag thingy on the hood and bumpers? Excellent car to drop a little V6 or V8 into and make it a track car, no guilt as it's already been tarted up. (I learned to drive on a 52 TD, MG are great fun).
The Ranchero..by far and the one year low run makes it rare..decent price too..the MG..well personally i feel like if its not AMERICAN MADE. it's not a ROD
Man O Man, That Ranchero is the Queen of the Ball tonight. I know Matt's Off Road Recovery would love that Corvair wagon. Looks like everyone dumping anything 6 volts, that was Paw Paw's Baby. I can't believe I forgot Ford made such a nice Muscle Car, T Bird in 1970, after that ugly 60's debacle. (but then it did helped sell a ton of Mustangs) lol!
I like the Hudson hornet, would really be cool as a two door. I done a restoration on a 67 ranchero. Turned out beautiful painted a light gold and was smooth as glass.
@@Americanrodshop it belonged to an older man, I just did a frame on resto about 14 years ago I guess. It still makes the car shows in southeast Texas.
Thank you Solon for the under $ 10,000 cars. As i said in a previous comment, it is certainly better than paying $ 25,000 or $ 30,000 for a new one if you have little finances, even if you have to put a few $'s into it.
I appreciate that Robert! Not in this video but there are some Canadian cars from Ontario in a few videos back! I will see if I can find some more! Thanks for viewing!
My favorite...the MGB because I've owned a 67 MGB/GT and a 56MGA. The one.shown has a custom grill. Not bad but the hood scoop would have to go. Not SU carbs.
The problem IS....every guy who sees a car selling on Barrett Jackson TV shows automatically thinks their pile of junk scrap metal in the backyard is suddenly worth A LOT MORE than what it is actually worth!! THEY IGNORE the fact that the car on the auction block IS a running and driving AND street legal car.....while their own trash hasn't run in 30 or 40 years.....and has literally been rotting into the ground that long as well!! And I have run into my share of $9000 1965 Mustangs, that had an inline 6 engines and not much else left that you could even call "A car"!! Or the guy who wants $20,000 for a 1960s station wagon that needs $30,000 in parts and labor just to make it a "running vehicle again" that thinks his car is "rare" and "desirable" some how!! Trust me finding a running car in decent shape IS worth paying the crazy asking prices at times.....BUT also knowing what the car is does make it a "deal breaker" when the guy wants $10,000 on a wore out Pontiac with a tired 350 and needs six months worth of labor to repair it!!
Great insight, Greg, and a great comment! I appreciate that, and I appreciate you being a viewer! Keep on commenting with those insights! This is a channel where I want and love people to discuss old cars!
Prices are dropping, i had my 2004 mizda mx5 for sale rust free , 118.00 on it , not one bite onit. And just had timing belt and water pump changed, thonks ate mot good ,
Look, I like and am subbed to your website but, it seems you are confused about the difference between a vehicle simply being old, and what constitutes a "classic."
The Ranchero sure is a beauty. 289 is a good motor.
My favorite tonight!
Thanks for the video! The lot where the Lakewood was had a bunch of cool cars around!✌️
I did see that as well! Those were nice Tim!
That Ranchero should sell fast, but I sure like the Lakewood.
Perfect for my fishing gear😁
I agree with that! Thanks Dave!
In my area, people are asking more and more for their classics, but I don’t think many are actually changing hands.
I would agree with that my friend! The money is just not out there to afford the higher priced automobiles! Great comment! I appreciate you being a viewer!
I agree,,the Ranchero #1 the T Bird #2 😎
Both excellent picks Gary!
I with you on the 67 Ranchero. I really like the body style of the 67, and this one looks like it’s been well cared for. And for being in such good shape, the price is right.
I know! I wish it was near me!
Love this channel, thank you Solon
Thanks Wendel! I appreciate that kind comment! I appreciate you being a viewer!
The Ranchero is #1
I agree with that!
My favorites in this video are the 1950 Dodge Coronet and the 1967 Ford Ranchero nice looking vehicles.
You picked two great ones as always Fred! Good picks!

Great info on the front-end kit! I appreciate that comment!
Love the Lakewood & the Ranchero. I grew up in Lakewood, Ohio, and my best friend had a 61 Corvair, same color. Ranchero looks like a great deal.
Great are both picks! I was blown away by the Rancher's condition!
I agree Solon, that Ranchero is super nice.
It is for sure!
The Ranchero..by far and the one year low run makes it rare..decent price too..the MG..well personally i feel like if its not AMERICAN MADE. it's not a ROD
I liked that Ranchero as well!
Solon: I agree with you, the '67 Ford Ranchero is the Best Deal and truck in this weeks video! Keep up the GREAT channel efforts........
Thanks my Friend! The 67 Ranchero was so nice!
1967 Ranchero for 8500. Looks to be in excellent shape. Wish it was in California.
It was nice Mary!
Great lineup,Solon. The Ranchero and were my favorites.
MIne too Joe!
1970 MGB was the "Deal of the Week" 😎
Nice pick Tony!
I agree The Ford Ranchero , is a smoking looking car.
It is a sweet one for sure, Brian!
Beautiful night on the patio. Perfect for watching another nice vid....
Nice! I'm jealous of that patio!
Man O Man, That Ranchero is the Queen of the Ball tonight.

I had forgotten about that cool body style on the '70 T Birds as well! I loved that grill!
@@Americanrodshop
Yeah that's right off the Ford LTDs, and the Mercury Marquites from back then.
Super nice Ranchero 👌 seriously 😊
I like it too! I wish it was near me!
Ranchero was my favorite also!
MIne too!
Love the 67 Ranchero.
It was a nice one!
I like the Hudson hornet, would really be cool as a two door. I done a restoration on a 67 ranchero. Turned out beautiful painted a light gold and was smooth as glass.
That would be cool to have seen! Whatever happened to that one you restored??
@@Americanrodshop it belonged to an older man, I just did a frame on resto about 14 years ago I guess. It still makes the car shows in southeast Texas.
Thanks for replying back brother cool thing you do love cars trucks playing guitar and harmonica
always loved the rancheros

I like both the Corvair wagon, and the red Fairlane. I'd take either one!
Me too Joel!
Love that Ranchero
Me too Bill!
Great old 2 door Plymouth in cream . 👍🏻🇦🇺🇨🇦🇺🇸
Always love a Studebaker and the Lakewood Corvair is lovely. Thanks Solon!
I appreciate it Lucie!
Great show as always keep them come much appreciated.
Thanks Kevin!
Thanks for the video Solon!
You bet Brother!
Thanks for the lineup but no Canadian cars !!!??
Great that you are keeping track of the reduction in pricing.
Thanks for your effort 👌
I appreciate that Robert! Not in this video but there are some Canadian cars from Ontario in a few videos back! I will see if I can find some more! Thanks for viewing!
Ranchero for sure!
I agree with you James!
I have the 67 red ranchero with white racing stripes and it's a little nicer. But as far as the video I like the Thunderbird.
Good pick!
You can tell times are tough today prices on most of these rides are very reasonable
You are right! It is a buyer's market if you have the money!
Love the red Dodge 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🇦🇺
My favorite was the 70 T-bird, sense I am a Thunderbird man 😊
I agree - I love that body on that bird!

I know nothing about MGs but I would LOVE to own one! Would be so much fun!
Fave has to be the Ranchero best of the lot
It is getting a lot of attention in the favorite category for sure!
Do you think you can do an under $5000 show ? I think it would be cool to see what you would find. Thanks
I sure will try! Let me see what I can find!

The 50 dodge isn't a business coup but a two door sedan, the business coup had no back seat and a longer trunk
My favorite is the Thunderbird
I had forgot about how sharp those year models were!
@@Americanrodshop hard to pass up but we have to pay our house off first ❤️
I like the thunderbird solon
Nice pick Joseph!
Most of lot has too many doors and posts, Ranchero be the only one I would consider
The Coronet is not a business coupe. Just a 2dr coupe. The business coupe had a smaller cabin with no back seat, and bigger trunk.
Great info! I appreciate the insight! Thanks for being a viewer!
Tbird, Ranchero tie mate.
Both great picks Brian!
@@Americanrodshop Thanks, just wanted to say great vids man, keep it up sir.
The ranchero and the tbird.
Good picks! They are a favorite of many!

Third has a rocket ship feel
It does Wendell! I agree with that!
Third was true mussel at a great price.
Yes it was!
Nice thunderbird
Great pick Victor!
Ya, it looks like nothing can catch it 😎
What--no '57 Chevys?
I could not find any under $10,000 for this video but I am still looking for one for you!
@@Americanrodshop (Thanks, but I posted it in jest.)
That 50 Coronet!
I liked it too!
British cars look great but those motors mean they spend more time in the shop t hug an on tye road

Finally !! ❤❤ 👍👍😊
@@MarkBrighton-nb8je yeah if I used”old cars” no one would watch the video because no one wants to look at old cars! LOL!
Torn between the Hudson and the Studebaker
It is hard to decide on those two! The Hudson edges it out for me!
Your right the Ranchero is the best.
It is the most popular so far!
I am interested. How do I go about more info and contact info
👍👍
Thanks brother!
Hello everyone
Hi Pappy!

Thanks Carl!
Hey buddy how is everything going i am ready to ride
Tune in on Tuesday night for the BIG FUN NIGHT!
Yeah well you find me one of these cars and I’ll buy, doesn’t exist
Compared to the crap seen on the roads, my new definition of classic is anything before 1979 lol
