Intertingly enough, Prusa's shipping costs are so high, that they have to hide some of the costs into the product. They were smart enough to know that (Americans at least) would be repulsed by a $250 shipping bill. So they hide part of that cost into the product. It's not quite the same as giving free shipping, but it avoids the knee jerk reaction of dismissing buying a product because you know so much of your money is going to me "wasted" on shipping and not the product. For them it works. I thought it was very clever.
