Sean is turning out to be a valuable asset to the shop .
Plus adult supervision .
Best comment
@jackmehoff2961 what's all this adult supervision you all talking about? 🤣
Adult supervision is most important !
The VERY BEST comment.
Sean is by far the best addition to your team he has filled the gap you all were missing.
SEND DEMRI TO DRIFT SCHOOL! Would be a great video series!
That is a fantastic idea 😊
Drift and rally school!
Sean is an awesome addition to the family he is very good at what he does and the cool thing is he brings everyone else standard up you guys have always done a great job but now it's over the top great vid as always.chris
Thank you he is an awesome teacher and makes us all want to do the best we can always
@@RobbyLayton when u love what you do it's no longer work. I had a gremlin x with a 360 best lil car I ever had. You still building derby cars?? Hope so
I can certainly see Sean's influence... all the new steel is cleaned and polished 🤩
Love these no-nonsense build videos way more than the ones with shenanigans. Also, Sean is awesome.
Sean is a legend. He is exactly what you were missing to take your builds to the next level
Sean's work looks top notch but Demri and kids steal the show.
Enjoying Seans skill and expertise on this Build.. It is refreshingly evident the entire team is enjoying working with him.. He makes the entire build look easy even though we know its not.. Robbie, Hillbilly, Demri, Coulton and crew are allways entertaining while getting the job done.. Its a joy to watch you guys working together.. 👍
They all bring something different to the table. Colton is cameraman/narrator, Hillbilly is a great mechanic, sean is a killer fabricator, Robby makes auto body work look easy, and the boss is cute.
That tube front end looks amazing. Great work guys!
Thanks! 👍
I understand why you hired Sean. He is in his element!
Longer video is great. Sean is great add to the team, great to see the team grow. This stuff is better than TV.
"My TIG welds look good, as long as you don't look at them." - Robby Layton, 5-minute expert
I love watching you guys working on your vehicles, its awesome how you guys can work so well together, i love watching hillbilly and colton working together i like the banter they have but they still get the job done !
Long form Layton videos for the win
Amen
Sean sure does add superb technical fabrication skills, he is a great team member!
I always watch soon as the notifications come. Ya’ll are the best. I wish I could get some merch I would. Just enough to be a member for now. Keep it up 👍 ❤😊
You're the best!
Love this. Shawn is a great addition to the team. 😊😊😊
Now this is how you build a hybrid. Awesome work guy's, keep moving forward.
Sean is a master craftsman with metal, a rare skill nowadays.
Shawn is a beast the front end is amazing
Robby watching you guys fabricate is my favorite thing to watch
Thank you!
I love your guys work. You never fail. Plus family bond you have and your crew is awesome.
Add to parts list: Dual rear calipers and a big hoon handle 😎🏁
You have turned your shop into a great fab shop. AWESOME!
Pacer looks amazing, Shawn is stellar. We need a build on that Miata. Ls drift fest!
👍🏽🇺🇸👍🏽 Sean is awesome. Glad you all are following his lead
Hillbilly, thank you for re-doing that crossmember! The first design definitely would have hung too low. Looks great now.
12:33
I heard that!!
AMC = All Makes Combined
"Wanna hear a joke?" NOPE ! Not today... 🤣😂😎
Clearly Sean has some serious skills
Colton just scored some style points with me. Miata Is Always The Answer!
Robbie you and the guys have done an amazing job on the bus and the boss's pacer and Sean has turned out to be quite the fabricator you need neei i love the video's
The Boss’s car is going to be really impressive! Great job everyone.
This went from the Debbie's car to The guys obsession. Bravo to the guys thoughtful safety protectivness. Great build.
I love Pacers....I love this build.
You guys are pretty much just covering up a Pacer floor pan with a tube frame with Pacer body panels. That's not a bad thing, it's actually pretty cool looking.
It's nice to see that one person can make a positive contagious change to other employees that are willing to learn and strive to do their best.
With all the talent in your place Robby. Do you have any apprenticeship program for the young and upcoming and not just school kids. Anyone young person that would like to learn. What you could teach them !!
GREAT PROGRESS, MAKING THE DREAM WORK, WITH TEAM WORK. HAVE A GREAT WEEK.
You guys should tub the back end for larger wider tires. More contact patch, more smoke!
Another great video! Sean is amazing.
However, I would be strengthening those motor mounts. The lower legs look awfully skinny. IDE be afraid they will stretch/deflect under load.
Love Demri's laugh and she brings class to the channel 😅😅
You guys accomplished a lot in this video! Sean is the best!
Colton’s Miata is looking good!🤙🏼👍🏼💪🏼😍
I can't wait to see the Boss popping the tires on the burnout pad !
I vote to build Coltons Miata on the channel
The front end frame work is awesome
Awesome! Incredible work guys and gal!
Can't believe I have just watched nearly an hour's video. Where did the time go? Great build.
I had to stop at the 18 min mark just to say your kids are friggin hilarious 🤣🤣🤘love it man, kids can drive you nuts sometimes but there’s nothing that compares to those little moments when they put the biggest smile on your face 😂
Nothing but the best for Demri wait that’s me sweet thanks Robby lol 😂
Great work getting all the pieces cut and fitting just right. Looks like the computer assisting the cutting is a huge help.
Shawn is soft spoken.. we need A Shawn, Shawn and Sean build.. TM,RL & FR…
19:50 I've never worked with any tubing frame, except to install a simple roll bar before. So I find this front end adjustment feature amazing!! t's so simple!
Can’t wait to see the final product. Greg job guys.
Dang Robby! Just when I thought you had the perfect crew, you topped it again! You have the most incredible channel on RUclips! That’s why I can’t wait to watch your next video! Dat’s money dude!!!!!
That's going to be a super strong machine when it's done.
Learning to TIG good just improves your skill and versatility as welder. While MIG has it advantages mainly speed and ability to handle larger gaps, TIG when done right is stronger and less likely to break or crack in the long run. Sean is earning his keep by being a great fabricator and an even better teacher. Can't wait to see it come together
Colton doing Stalekracker, mint 👌
AMC---all manufacturers combined!!!
Clear coat the front end and cage. It looks great and you can check for cracks in the future
Shawn brings a new lever to the shop ! Thanks for sharing ! Going to be a beast !
Need to send Demri to Tennessee for a long weekend to get burnout competition lessons from Derrick.
Thanks for the company kind fellows
I always loved the Pacer and the Gremlin! Can’t wait to see the Bosses Pacer done.
16:35 Mr and Mrs Layton, you make the cutest kids ❤
Thats all Demri 😍 lol
Love the technology improvements.
Thanks for sharing! 😊
Very cool project. Can't wait to see it in action.
Keep it up Robby and you'll be building a 7 second drag and drive car!! Sean is a great addition to your shop.
Men like Sean is like hitting the jackpot which I Kno Robby knows that good job sean
I can see Shawn is gonna be a great asset!
I’m ready for the miata build!!
Good job on your list 🤙
Thanks for sharing 😀👍
Demri 's car wink wink is gonna be so Awesome 😎💯
Nice work gentlemen.
47:00 Try grinding the tungsten "ball end" .. just make the end and spherical as you can easily grind it by hand.
The pro's like pipefitters etc. never use this style, but for non-pressure welds, like making cars, it is gives you a little more leeway moving the puddle around ... the arc can center itself, in a way unlike point ground tungsten's do.
25:00 They make very light plastic mock up motors. I REALLY wanted to buy one, when I put a 350 small block in my 1966 Chevy Van. BUT they were too expensive! :(
The Chevy van came with a 230 - 6 cylinder :) ... BUT? I made up brackets for stock motor mounts, the first time I tested the engine in ... never had to pull the motor transmission assembly back out even once :) .
The real feat was making the stock "top mount transmission mount" ... work for the TH350 transmission!
0:18 It's AMC: All Makes Combined!🤣
Fine job guy's, wow you guy's are kickin butt on the Pacer. Can't wait to see the first burn out lol.
Rear steering for the bus!!!!!!!
Great video
nice build guys!
I like the Mock up 6.0, Wink Wink!
@robbylayton you're going to need a Demri "The Boss" pacer shirt soon!
Yes we will
great as always sean is asome hillbilly and Colton are great
AMC - "Aint My Car" however, this one will be an exception!
That is looking good guys
It’s gonna be a Sick clapper Pacer🤙😎
Thing is coming out sweet 🤙
AMC - All 'Merican Car. Good one, Hillbilly!
You got to love how hillbilly can do the job faster than he can explain the job, and that's a massive MVP trait.
Make sure to check out what Brent and the PFI Speed guys did with the fuel cell for skiddy. That way you can skip over all the interior fire stuff with yours.
Hadley we love your joke time ❤
I'm going to hurry up and rewatch this video!!
THANKS FOR THE VIDEO
Sean was definitely the missing Peace to the puzzle. I think it would look great and be more fun if you put the fuel cell under the floor in the back and put a decent / comfortable interior so yall can cruise it when your not doing burnouts. Would also be cool if you mini tub the back so you can put slicks and run down the strip
Love TIG welding, been awhile since I have done it.
Awesome job all you guys I like the longer video it's great
Looking good 👍
