I saw a video that clearly conveys the state of the city in 1976.I have lived in this town in the summer of 1972 for the ELEC program. It was when I was in high school.It was my first time to visit an American town after coming from Japan.
Arrived after midnight by car from Newark Airport. I stayed at Lewis' house on Iriving Ave.The city floating in the headlights seemed to be in the forest, and the trees floating in the light felt like a deep forest where fairies were dancing.The couple had three children. The family were kind and smart people. For me, the time and experience I spent with the people of this town have become treasures of my life.

Lived in Metuchen all my life. Im 22 now and this is actually really cool to see.

I lived in the house at 5:06-7 in 1976. We wore colonial costumes for the tour.
