I like the sofa table idea and I always thought it would look nice the other way around. The sofa where the TV is and vise-versa. I haven't seen the layout so I don't know if it would fit. But, I feel there would've been more room, since the chaise portion of the sofa would be closer to the window. Either way, her home is beautiful and it's their decision. 💕

But at least this way you can just add a long/narrow console table behind it to close off the gap while keeping the walkway more spacious.
What about a slender and long piece of wood in the tone of your choice to run and fill that gap between the couch and wall (when the couch was where it was originally against the window) , and then you could put small decorations on the shelf like photo frames , small plants , the remote , etc. just an idea to create useful space and keep it from feeling cramped !

I really support you and your channel but I have to say something here. Maybe you didn’t clarify if your brother did quarantine. But, if you’re brother tested positive AT ALL. he should be quarantined. Even if he got a negative test after because the test can give false negatives, but not false positives. He shouldn’t be traveling on a plane. Not near others and not going out to eat at restaurants. I hope you did take all the precautions because everyone should be super careful during these times.
They both got tested again here in NYC (mom got tested with him since she picked him up at the airport)... perhaps I shouldn’t have mentioned it in the vlog since there’s more to the story that I don’t care to share. But I did not see them till their PCR test came back. Thank you for your concerns, because trust me I do also take these current times serious.
I agree with @tiffany mane , its not really the whole testing ordeal or that the story may be longer and not shared but the fact that he got on an airplane is enough, knowing he was positive, thats the part thats just wrong. He could have infected others on that plane, at the airport, etc. There are many people who are scared to get on planes because of people like that, who carelessly get on planes knowingly being infected. Hope all those who may have crossed paths with him are ok.
kimriv07 and I absolutely agree, in my personal opinion the issue here is that lack of restrictions or protocol airlines are having... if he actually was positive then he shouldn’t have been allowed to get on the plane... but they let him either way.
