I wish my city had a mayor like Mike Haggar. You know, the kind of mayor willing to drop everything at a moment's notice and rush off to Hong Kong to beat tons of people to death.
Yup, like actions 90s movies a team of heroes fighting the mob when anarchy reigns in society, as evil triumph when good people do nothing. The fight to end all fights... Final Fight !! 😁😁
I luv the music and the punching effects, probably some of the best effects I've heard out of the whole SNES trilogy! It's a shame it didn't really get the praise it should of gotten. The musical score has a funny degree of sarcasm while beating the sh!t out of people that it even makes it kinda funny lolz. That was Capcom for you back in the day!
5:11 favorite music from Final Fight 2. Brings back memories from when I would rent games from video store every Friday after school. Child hood memories.
The Final Fight series has some of the best playable and best looking 16bit brawlers to offer. FF2 is a very nice one, but FF3 is even better - like a sequel should be - with different pathes to go, the ability to run, to execute special moves and even supers!
Yes, the complete ending shows only when you finish it in Expert mode, just be warned: the game gets EXTREMELY BORING in that mode, each enemy has an enormous bar of life (specially the Andore family) and each punch you give them takes away only like a pixel width of it. Even Haggar with his best moves takes eons to kill each foe. O_o Also, there are a lot of items hidden by objects obstructing your view on the foreground, be sure to look for them, just for the joy of it! :D
+Anthony Mercado That doesnt apply to all old games, the first Streets of Rage was a game with many mixed opinions even on it's time but Streets of Rage 2 keeps being a pleasure to play for any BeatemUp fan.
Final Fight 2 (video game 1993) is a 1993 side - scrolling beat 'em up video game released by Capcom for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (known as the Super Famicom in Japan). It is the direct sequel to the 1989 coin - operated arcade game Final Fight, which was previously also released for the SNES. Final Fight 2 was developed by Capcom's consumer division with no preceding coin - op version. The game was re - released onto Wii's Virtual Console service in 2009 for the North American and European regions. Unlike the SNES version of the first game, Final Fight 2 supports two - player simultaneous play and has a total of three playable characters. The on,y playable character from the first game to return is Mike Hagger. Two new player characters were introduced: Carols Miyamoto and Maki Genryusai. In the game's plot, the three battle the resurgent Mad Gear gang at various locations around Asia and Europe to rescue Maki's sister and his father, who are also the fiancee and teacher respectively of Guy from the first Final Fight.
ryzmaker11 no I think this is the best. Final fight 1 is too old type of 2D, then they come up with Final fight 2 with a more HD graphics, then Final Fight 3 is kinda the same as 1.
Final Fight 3/Tough music was horrible for music, except for the first part of the first stage. Honestly, the people that handled the Cadillacs and Dinosaurs OST should have had a say in the music in that game. Also, original tracks like this one would have been MUCH better in this game. ruclips.net/video/4ajEN46RnYs/видео.html ruclips.net/video/F9tTdJoDNMA/видео.html ruclips.net/video/eQReOD1fme4/видео.html ruclips.net/video/dr4EVaqsejk/видео.html ruclips.net/video/o5BievI_uq8/видео.html Tracks like these would have been MUCH better for that game.
Out of the SNES games, yes I agree. FF1 was good but had too much missing, and FF3 was painfully generic. FF2 has gorgeous graphics and plays really solidly, but I just wish they had added some more moves. It doesn't beat the FF arcade game, but it's the best out of the SNES games.
The sprite artist really had a lot of fun making Maki. And I would've done the same >=)

Does anyone ever watch whole playthru, like a movie ? I put the longplay on my laptop and then as a 'sideshow' while playing games on my PC, separate monitors offcourse, or listening music. It's entertaining to watch.
This is my opinion on the Final Fight trilogy for the Super Nintendo. 1) Final Fight: The game is too difficult, even though there can be only 3 enemies on the screen, the graphics are well done and the sound of the punches is more than satisfactory. But at the same time, the music sucks a little bit and also lags a lot. I can understand those people who prefer this one only out of nostalgia, but I honestly didn't like it. 2) Final Fight 2: In terms of personality and setting, this is my favorite. Enemies are more memorable and songs are a big step up in comparison to the first. The graphics are very similar to the first one but better and the game is not that difficult (Except the Japanese level, fuck those electric fat guys). As for the controls and the technical part of the game, it's done very well. 3) Final Fight 3: This is the best in terms of improvements. The music is great, the graphics are better than before and gameplay has improved a lot. The game is much faster compared to the first and second, making it more fun. The difficulty is much simpler, making it more approachable for those people who are not good at Beat'EmUp. The shortcuts are interesting and the fact that there are special moves makes it cooler. It seems to be the best of the 3 but where the third falls is in the "personality" section. The game is so generic in terms of enemies and scenarios. Only Caine and Wong are somewhat interesting (actually no...Caine is an absolute badass). Dave is an Edi. E "bootleg", Shadow is Rolento but more generic, you understand what I mean. Final Opinion: The 3 is the best in terms of gameplay, the second is the best in terms of presentation, and the first one... I didn't liked
That's because we don't play each game 10 - 20 times to get skilled and experienced, we play it 1 - 2 times and record within that play, because we don't have nervers to play it hundred times just to be good at it, because you get bored with that games soon after you finish it once. We'll do it on expert if you think it will bring it any special ending which I doubt but we'll try and post it as soon as we're finished ;)
Always be patient before hitting against Retu cuz his spinning attacks inflicts damage. I get back a little far away as possible then make a jump attack at the right time but when I land close to him without knocking him down, I used combo attacks then do the same thing over and over again so I can knock his ass out of my sight
Final Fight 2 was actually quite financially successful, selling over one million copies. OK, it didn't make as much as the original Final Fight's SNES port which sold 1.5 million copies, however back in those days very seldom do sequels do as good as their originals. Back in the day, it was felt by critics that Final Fight 2 was too similar to the original, and all it had to offer was a change of setting with the global locations, and the two-player mode that was sorely missing from the original's SNES port. It was also said that the game felt and looked bored and tired. But, I argue that Final Fight 2 is a good fun game. I would even go as far as to say it's quite underrated. To me, it has plenty of fun thrills and spills and wacky adventure that you would expect from a Final Fight game. Maybe its premise was too similar to the first game, maybe back in 1993, people went in with very high expectations and were thus disappointed, but I say go back and play Final Fight 2; it's honest a pretty good beat-em-up and deserves more praise; it represents an occasion where Mike Haggar left the United States to take on Mad Gear around the world, where all manner of chaos ensued; definitely a trip to remember. So, go back and play Final Fight 2 with fresh eyes, without having the other Final Fight games in mind.
I can see what they were going for with this game. StreetfIghter II was hot stuff at that point so obviously they tried to capitalise on it with the international settings and the obvious references. The thing is that fighting scumbags in filthy urban streets feels a lot different to doing it outside posh Parisian cafes or Italian canals. Also, the moveset was horribly lazy, almost as if they just wanted to get a filler game out to keep the Street Fighter influence warm. Some extra moves would have gone down so well in this game and the story is odd since it seems to centre on Guy but he's nowhere to be seen. Even still, the graphics are gorgeous and it plays better than I'd say 90% of the other scrollers on the system, including Final Fight 3.
This game was okay, even if it was nothing more than a mere direct to video, err.....console release which was a total rehash of the first game, but was not exactly an improvement over it by any means I.M.O. Part 2 had nowhere near the magic the first Final Fight did, and was odd how the sequel to such a legendary arcade game ended up being a major, underwhelming afterthought, with no arcade release to go with it. This was sort of what Golden Axe II was to that trilogy, but at least it got an epic arcade game, even if no console port of that ever really came, even to this day. The third Final Fight was definitely a step up, but still hardly did anything to move both the series, and the then aging beat em up genre forward (which already had one step out the door by then) at all too.
+Ertug Atay Cody got arrested after final fight 1, he couldn't stop fighting, thats what landed him into jail, he breaks out of jail in street fighter alpha 3
+acriser15 hmm he also looks more buff in this game, it's iconsistant and has no reason former wrestlers don't just get buff and since he is a president yea theres a problem and also because he had save a girls daughter final fight 3 happened so thats actually good cause guy returns and looks like his street fighter alpha design just with the look that fits final fight's artstyle
Not to mention both Street Fighter & Final Fight co-exist in the same universe. Cody, Guy, Maki, Sodom, Rolento, Hugo(Andore), & Poison have all appeared as playable characters in the Alpha, III, and IV titles. And also Street Fighter X Tekken.
+Terrell Townsend I think at this point its fairly common knowledge that Final Fight and Street Fighter, and to a lesser extent, many of Capcom's games, occupy the same universe.
+Tony Jenn (AJlive85) no it's just a mistake in height actually they fix it in final fight 3, he probebly got his muscles bigger i mean it's visually obvious

Texas' ex Governor was an ex wrestler
Who?
+TheStapleGunKid Jessie Ventura
He was the governor of Minnesota, not Texas.
Funnily enough Haggar was based on Jessie Ventura's part in The Running Man.
I used to LOVE this game as lil girl!! My brother and I still have it and always thought that a FINAL FIGHT movie would be so cool!!
Unboxed it’s worth about £150 now.
Yup, like actions 90s movies a team of heroes fighting the mob when anarchy reigns in society, as evil triumph when good people do nothing. The fight to end all fights... Final Fight !! 😁😁

Best of all Final Fight series. Music and sound are awesome. The graphics are better than Final Fight 1 and 3 beyond measure.

That Jony enemy at 3:10 looks pretty much like Zangief from Street Fighter 2. With all that chest hair and everything :D
While Chun Li eats her lunch in the background.
They recycled SFII a lot in this game even Haggars moves are Zangief's moves.
I love listening to this game…

Not a single mother fucking spinning pile driver. Absolutely pitiful.
No Guy, No Cody.. I think this game and 3rd one doesnt have that soul bec of that. Even Guy returned at 3rd one, Cody was the man and missed.

I used to play this game threadbare with my bro ! Damn friendly fire still on :-)))

Chun-li is so beautiful! Love you Chunny!
Look at Chun-Li and Lee enjoying their hot meals.
why didn't haggar use his tornado slam move here?
@monkeymac3
Nope, Chun-li eats chicken chow mein with a bow and two sticks.
I like this one, but The first one is way better
Final Fight 1 is the best 💯
Also every final fight game is better than every bare knuckle game and every streets of rage game too!
Final Fight 2 - 1993
what... no... two-some.. now we're pi33d...
super dudes to the rescue...
Haggar increases in height, he's 6'10" in this game and in the 1st game he's 6'7", then in the 3rd game he's 6'7" again, lol.
+acriser15 hmm he also looks more buff in this game, it's iconsistant and has no reason former wrestlers don't just get buff and since he is a president yea theres a problem and also because he had save a girls daughter final fight 3 happened so thats actually good cause guy returns and looks like his street fighter alpha design just with the look that fits final fight's artstyle
acriser15 it's gonna sound crazy but I believe it was 3 different Haggars because final fight 3 he has a long pony tail
Love FF2 but it was Final Fight 3 that had the most comprehensive moves list.
It's all about cooperation ;)
Guile/Ken stage from SSF2!
HAGGAR I LOVE YOU!!!!!

Is this on the hardest difficulty because you have to complete it on the hardest diffficulty to see the full ending.
@Rakiarmas OH MY CAR!!!
3:03 i saw chun li in the back
+Hunter Steven capcom characters
+Hunter Steven everybody sitting over there is acting like they don't see a fight happening lol
The story makes so much sense!
Rolent should have been the final boss not no Retu
Bratken must have been Victor Von Gerdenheim's (DarkStalkers) father maybe? LOL!
Where does it take place in
Looking at your post, it is clear that kids today do not care about capitalization, grammar, spelling or punctuation. ;)
lol Carlos, spanish guy with a sword on his back :D
It says the game is at a final fight but there is a 2 now
No ending? Just silent credits at the end...?
Oh, I see. You only get an ending on the harder difficulty. Come on guys, amp it up...
Rolent beat the shit out of them 😂
Chun li eating 3:20
17:42 I wish that the owner of the car would come out and scream "oh my god!' like in Final Fight
Also, no spinning piledriver from Haggar?
The spinning piledriver is part of his moveset in this game.
You mean you never read his bio in that game? It tells you his first appearance was Final Fight.
Maki is the best, I want another game with Maki in it.
Maki was also a playable character in the fighting game Capcom Vs. SNK 2: Millionaire Fighting 2001.
hetakuso
I have to say that Mad Gears anti gun stance is commendable- keep them off the streets
Sounds like Street Fighter 2!
HOW THE HECK DID I NOT NOTICE HIM THERE?!?! O_O
Wait wasn't Haggar listed as 6'8" in the first final fight? How do you have a growth spurt in your late 40's? Lol
+Tony Jenn (AJlive85) no it's just a mistake in height actually they fix it in final fight 3, he probebly got his muscles bigger i mean it's visually obvious
+Tony Jenn (AJlive85) Thicker, chunkier boots.

He need Hagger as Mayor of LA
Esse jogo é muito difícil
I love that comment! LMFAO!!!
