- Baton Rouge (/ˌbætən ˈruːʒ/ BAT-ən ROOZH; from French Bâton-Rouge 'red stick') is the capital of the U.S. state of Louisiana. On the eastern bank of the Mississippi River, it is the parish seat of East Baton Rouge Parish, the most-populous parish in Louisiana. Since 2020, it has been the 99th-most-populous city in the United States, and second-largest city in Louisiana after New Orleans. It is the 18th-most-populous state capital. At the U.S. Census Bureau's 2020 tabulation, it had a population of 227,470; its consolidated population was 456,781 in 2020. It is the center of the Greater Baton Rouge area, the second-largest metropolitan area in Louisiana, with a population of 870,569 as of 2020, up from 802,484 in 2010.
💥 I was very excited to find/watch your videos. I’ve watched all the big names videos like you do. You do some unique things that nearly none of the others do such as: 1. You talk during your drive and point out various things such as names of areas, 2. Street names that you camera don’t pick up, 3. Describe various sites & a few other things. I think those things can make you very unique if you formally design/plan your drives to incorporate them all the time. But… I got a sudden BIG PROBLEM that has turned me off. In one of your videos you said someone told you your best drives would occur if you kept your camera pointed to the passenger side… WRONG!!! You should KEEP your camera pointed directly ahead and OMLY adjust it off to one side to capture special things. Your passenger side camera drives are TERRIBLE!!! That misses half or more of what a drive should be. Would you/have you ever took a joy ride and only looked at one side of the street? Goodluck🙂
