You can see Mr. T actually looks at the wrapper when he does it. He was probably a little more conscious about littering.
All you needed in the 80’s for a successful TV show was a great soundtrack, cheesy actors, and crazy story lines. Loved it

True, but at least every channel wasn’t the same thing. With part one to part 50. Everything today is rehashed from years ago. Just the special effects are better by far. I haven’t watched TV in 3 years.
Kudos to the stunt drivers that worked in shows like this. They provided the real entertainment.

when you're 5 yrs old 1 of the greatest shows ever, but when 40 its total cringe...

It was a little cheesy sometimes, especially around the fourth season or whenever Murdock got too chatty. But most the time it was a wonderful combination of comedy and action that was too good to pass up.
Back when TV was fun. I still want that Van.

I just happened to click on this clip and got reminded of the hilarious scene where Murdock is yelling for trash bags and makes a hot air balloon escape with them. I actually didn't even know that was from this episode. Every time I change a trash bag I think of him yelling for trash bags. LOL

Ah, watched this show religiously 7 and 8 years old. I was the channel/volume remote control as Dad would ask "Say son, could you turn it up a little?" I do remember our entire family watching this as it had a little bit for everyone to enjoy.

We have hills in South Florida, but they are landfills.
I live in Finland and I saw this show as a kid and this episode on TV and I remember even back then going: Wait a minute, there are no mountains or pine trees in Florida.
@@STEFAZON500 Oh there are _plenty_ of pine trees in Florida. Mountains, OTOH, are a whole other story.
(Aside: after a hurricane comes through, the pine trees look like cotton swabs - smooth shafts with a little puff at the end. Reason: the storm strips the branches and needles off except for a little puff of green at the top of each tree.)

loved murock. No one that insane could be insane. He had to be the most sane member of the group.
Recently I watched all of the episodes over five DVDs. They relied so heavily on Murdock and he came through every time. He was easily an underrated character of the crew.

Murdock is who I aspire to be because he’s the most skilled no one of the team besides him can fly choppers, planes.
He can even charm a girl or two when they have car trouble.
And he won wheel of fortune consecutively with faces help but it was all Howling Mad playing the game.
And his invisible dog Billy and his love of horses.

Murdock was actually supposed to have a genius IQ. I think it was mentioned somewhere in the series.

The good old days. Those are the memories of my childhood watching that series on our black and white TV. Yep. We had a black and white TV set back in the 80s/early 90s.
When I got locked up the jail didn't have a t.v. so they let my mom bring my black and white t.v. to the jail. I remember watching the MTV music Awards where nirvana bass player knocked his self out with his bass. Good times.
The A-Team and MacGyver :) My favorite series...
I never appreciated just how cool that can was back in the day. All the cars seem so much cooler when I look at them now.😁

Murdock was later permanently discharged and released from the psychiatric hospital in season 5. But he's still crazy and funny.
They tried to permanently release him early in season 4, but he tunneled up through the floor of the conference room and that put an end to that.

This show was before my time but I get to watch it in re-runs. Great show, Murdock has filled in a time or two on the Michael Savage Radio show, the Savage Nation.

Speaking of drivers like that back when I was a kid my mom drove just like that to the grocery store when they had their sales and coupons in the local paper and yard sales posted in the weekend news papers man she used to break the sound barrier in our old Dodge Dart and she probably set new land speed records I recon. The reasons the cops wouldn't write her a ticket was the all fuss she threw at em... I had a tough child hood with a maniac behind the wheel for a mother..

Minus the mountains part, note the name of the town. It's not a real FL town, BUT there is a podunk town in North Florida called Starke that for years was known as one of the more worst speed traps in the country along with nearby Waldo, FL. My thinking that's where that got the idea for the Fl town.

I think the closest approximation today is probably “The Mandalorian.”
The closest thing to a spiritual successor in the last ten years is probably "Leverage," which is also about a team of outlaws getting justice for those in trouble. It's very different though - more white collar, men and women rather than just a guy show, and no military backstory.
"Burn Notice" is another one in that vein. It has a lot of several eighties TV shows in its DNA, including "The A-Team," what with the burned government operative who now helps the little guy. And it has Bruce Campbell, who's the kind of guy who would have done very well on "The A-Team."
