- It appears James "Ghost" St. Patrick has it all -- a drop-dead gorgeous wife, a stunning Manhattan penthouse, and the power and success that come with owning hot new nightclub Truth. But a closer look reveals a man living a double life. When Ghost isn't tending to his Fortune 500 business, he's catering to clients of another operation: a drug empire that serves only the rich and influential. While loyal sidekick Tommy protects the cash-cow narcotics venture at all costs, Ghost's new reality is using Truth as more than a front to launder money. It's a way out of the drug game and into a legitimate life with his family, even if everything he loves becomes unknowingly threatened. "Power" is co-executive produced by Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson (who also co-stars) and show creator Courtney Kemp Agboh ("The Good Wife").
Tasha manipulated tariq to think she was the victim. It was disgusting how the writers tried to get us to hate ghost towards the end of power and honestly it made me like his character even more. Ghost wasn’t perfect but we seen who he was in his dying breath…. Even tho Tariq, his son, shot him in cold blood, he still told tommy not to shoot him and let it go… in that moment that’s where this selfish narrative about ghost was bs.
Maaaan Tasha was horrible can’t believe she still living in the power world but anyways. Remember what she said she was in love with the biggest got dang drug dealer in NY not the legit club owner.
@@jirrellj the problem with most people watching the show think that Ghost was " delusional " just because he wanted to change. Being a gangster doesn't mean you have to live like that forever. When he was a teenager he stayed behind for Tommy. He didn't want Tariq to make the same mistakes he made.

She wasn’t innocent she was hitting on him before she knew about Angela
Facts a lot of people seem to forget, or overlook that about the first season. She was as guilty as Ghost in my opinion.
@@camcam5546i feel what makes her worse a bit was that ghost and angela genuinely loved each other, while tasha was flirting w Shawn to both manipulate him into doing what she wanted and out of jealousy for ghost focusing on the club

@@persiariley2296 No she wasn’t idiot, she started hitting on him exactly right after James flirted with Angela in the club, her point of doing that was to seduce him into telling her if James was cheating once she did that she found out he was cheating and got emotional and seduced him more but didn’t sleep with him then she let ghost lie to her and say he wasn’t sleeping with Angela anymore so she blew Shawn off.

Yea and some people really thought she loved him. I think she was playing him the whole time cuz one min she told him she made a mistake and didnt want him to get confused and the next she talks about running away with him and the kids. She should've known that wasnt going to work. I think Shawn was too close to Ghost and then Tariq wasnt going to agree with that. He was like family to them.
