Am well aware of all bruce lee films but i gotta say...Bloodsport is arguably the greatest martial arts movie ever made...its a perfect blend of Hollywood cliche and authentic martial arts
The old jackie chan movies such as Young Master, Snake in eagles shadow, Drunken master have far more advanced and technical fighting choreographies bro.
I love the nostalgy and the authentic Hong-Kong feeling of the 1980s in this song. In many today's new movies, the music is different and the atmosphere is often missing. Listening to this kind of music, I feel like wishing to travel to Asia again.
Frank "You taught me! Use every technique that works! Never commit to one style! To keep an open Mind" Mr Tanoka "But why?" Frank "To Honor you Shidoshi"
It's a long process to become proficient but time flys so why not. I'm 23 and starting with Boxing, MuayThai, and Bjj. I had it in plain sight my whole life growing up watching these type of movies. This is my purpose, my passion. I drive 45mins one way to go train for 3 hours straight.
MrKajithecat this soundtrack inspired the music for mortal kombat. Matter of fact this movie inspired mortal kombat literally. MK was initially to star JCVD lol
This vowel melody works wonders in my mind when I stretch. How wonderful and respectable childhood days were. Greetings from Algeria city of Oran 🇩🇿🇩🇿🇩🇿🇩🇿🇩🇿🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I loved this movie that after the first time I watched it, I had to watch it again. I LOVE the soundtrack and as someone who loves the 80s and action movies, this was the perfect mix
Mais grave!!! Au moins yavait pas de super héros yavait la notion de se défendre soi-même avec sa team lol Le mental et plein de valeurs qui se perdent de nos jours..

awesome movie and soundtrack. i have the whole score and soundtrack to this film. awesome track to start this classic film. van damme and bolo yeung is what made this film a classic. and my favourite van damme movie.
When this movie came , it was 1989 something and still remember it was at Rahul theatre in Pune and that frenzy the ticket counters used to be full..Super Entertainment...Now these type of movies are rareity
Because Of Van Damme, Chuck Norris, Tony Jaa, Jet Li, Jackie Chan, Donnie Yen, Bruce Lee I have started taking Martial Arts. I have been doing it for a year I am currently a green belt. I want to be a Martial Arts master one day :). If it wasn't for these great men I never would of started doing martial arts. I am taking Lung Shou Pai. I often copy a move or movement from each in my own expression as my Low-See calls it.
I had that there are buffoons who have no idea about the soundtrack, who are missing half of the music. / not even info why a track or two is missing from some soundtrack and where this soundtrack is from no info really you can only go crazy.
I love this soundtrack. I also love how Jean-Claude Van Damme (pretending to be Frank Dux) was/is a way more accomplished and impressive fighter/martial artist than Frank Dux himself. Hah! Damn! What a weird world! Paul Herzog though, his music made this film the iconic legend it is. Awesome stuff. So good!
For those of you who thought he was fake. From many sources that have this snippet at the end. A gaping hole in Johnson’s editorial is the notion that the 1975 Kumite never existed simply because one man said it didn’t. Kumite, is in fact, a real thing. The question is whether or not the Kumite tournament Dux described in the 1980 Black Belt feature actually happened. The Black Dragon Fighting Society, which succeeded the aforementioned IFAA, has a website that identifies Kumite as a part of its history, noting that one of the first recorded tournaments occurred in 1943. The society also recognizes Dux as a past winner of the Kumite. There’s one glaring issue with their version of history, though: Frank Dux is listed as one of the 10 “Patriarchs” of the Black Dragon Society, which would mean he has considerable input in their material.
While listening to this exquisitely designed masterpiece my inner martial arts DNA sequence has just been activated, beautifully & cathartically supercharged as I now feel🍀🍀👊👊💪💪👍👍 Love it😃😃👊👍

GSP comeback song!!
+Oscar Ekedede It's not even close to being one of the greatest martial arts movies but it's still a classic though.
The old jackie chan movies such as Young Master, Snake in eagles shadow, Drunken master have far more advanced and technical fighting choreographies bro.
Agreed jcvd is the best
As imlressive as van dammes ballet martial artsnis its far from real. The styles shown though make it varied and real
Bloodsport music really does hit in a way nothing else does
Don't blink or you get hit!
This song has a Muay Thai Rhythm to it. I love the peace and meditation vibe it gives you in the mist of training!
Still training Muay Thai?

Got to show my young friend this movie recently. He was blown away. Soundtrack to this is so in point.
It's actually Leo doing an impression of Jack Nicholson on a Japanese tv show!

This is why the creators of the film never removed the based on a true story subtext.
