Brava to you for thrifting! I used to shop at Goodwill until a couple of years ago when I discovered the Big Cheeses at GW make somewhere between $500 thousand and 1 million dollars per year (depending on what internet search you do). I also found out that employees with disabilities are often paid less than minimum wage (as low as 22 cents per hour), whistleblowers have been fired, and safety issues have led to tragedy. Now my fave thrift store is The Humane Society Thrift Store, the fave of all our town which voted it the Best Thrift Store - even against GW! We also have thrift stores for hospice, Teen Challenge, and other local charities. I try to be even more ETHICAL about where my little money goes.
Yay! I hoped you'd get the light purple top. It looks great on you! And I like the black one with the V design as well. Oooh, and that dress! Great finds!
@@melanieeeee10 thanks! I can’t wait to go again. It’s only just hit me that taking in mind the demographic that donate will influence the availability within the shop lol
I love the pieces you picked. I recently have fallen back in love with op shopping and Redcliffe has so many amazing op shops in a small vicinity, it makes for a great day trip
@@TheRashidies there are a few along Oxley ave in margate - save the children, vinnies, Red Cross. A new one has opened called blackbird clothing exchange that has excellent selection of kids clothes as well as upstairs called Bluejay that has more labelled clothing. Also there is a great salvos along the main strip in Redcliffe facing the water that I have found excellent pieces for super cheap

Yes I love that beautiful black shirt. Now all you need is a skirt.
Thanks :) I don't wear skirts, I'm more of a dress girlie.
For smart casual you can't go past mens oversized cotton shirts..particularly striped ones..any color!!
Jeans that fit are a great find. Dress? Big no for me.
