Muktinath is a sacred place for both Hindus and Buddhists located in Muktinath Valley at an altitude of 3,710 meters at the foot of the Thorong La mountain pass in Mustang, Nepal. The site is close to the village of Ranipauwa, which is sometimes mistakenly called Muktinath.

We went to muktinath from beni bazar with walking to muktinath....there was a amazing moment and scenario...and there was a place tato pani on the way from beni to ghasa, where you can enjoy with hot water pond.. Lovely place and we felt its heaven ...specially jomsom wind blow our face early morning....it was 9 years ago... I wish I could go again same journey and wanna go damodar kunda from muktinath temple...I choose to walk so that I could enjoy the nature and every scenario from mother nature....love it and thanks for upload...
I was there in 2001. walking from Pokhara to Muktinath on foot. Unforgettable experience...once in a lifetime. Greetings from Croatia-Europe.

There were icicles everywhere when I did this.
Not sure if I did this 2 or 3 times in a row but I definitely completed one lap and it was farkin freezing especially after completely submerging myself in those 2 pools to finish.

This place seems to be a mediation place rather than crowded of people to come darshan....darshan can be made in plain of Nepal and India but mountain area are best for mediation and yoga
