Thanks for the video. I bought my 900 used and as soon as I got it home it started with a similar noise. I suspected the bearing, so I went ahead and ordered the entire drive shaft. I'll be putting it in soon.
Sorry for the late reply. I am changing out u-joints and carrier bearing on my XP Pro and noticed the same bends in the cross members. Looks like it is by design as there is not any paint chipped or wavy flanges as it was stamped with that bend to help with clearance underneath. Same with the brace directly behind for gas tank. Glad to see yours was exactly the same so no need to worry.
Have you ever considered switching brands? I had a different brand machine with 6200 miles, and the only things I replaced were rear a arm bushings, a u-joint, and pinion seal.
I’m not a brand loyalist, came pretty close to getting an x3 before this. Ultimately I liked this one better. I plan on sticking with this machine. We have another pro xp on the channel that hasn’t had the problems I’ve had. There’s a decent chance I’m the problem, not the machine lol.
Hey man "from the streets of Johnsburg, IL" awesome I live in McHenry 😃 They can ride these on the streets now in Johnsburg some roads in McHenry but not as much.
Oh nice!! Now you see more sxs and golf carts on roads than cars in j-burg! We are Mchenry as well, not the parts that allow machines on the roads lol.
No problem! That’s what I’m here for!! Just out of curiosity did you find us through RUclips? Or us driving through Mchenry with the machines on trailers?
Yeah it definitely helped!! I can’t wait to test it on some rocks. Thanks! No unfortunately no riding this weekend, 2 of the machines are waiting for some parts to come in.
Wow now that’s a 💩 ton of work man , great video.. Dude you get your upgrades off that Pro n trade it in for a new one , 2020 Pros have to many problems crazy to me that you have that many problems with your Pro - mine is a 2021 it’s the same as dudes n so far so good . Hate to see you busting your ass on fixing it all the time , though it does make for good videos 😂 should of had your wife yelling at you to come in the house now lol 😂 well I hope it works for you n she’s ready to go now .
Yeah, I think I’d break anything lol. I’m sure it’s a little worse with it being the first year of a new model. It definitely keeps the content flowing!! I’ll probably get yelled at after she watches this video and finds out that I had the driveshaft in the freezer!!
Just put a rhino driveline and superatv carrier bearing in my pro xp man u talk about baddddd the shafts wasnt a big deal but theres a little wire like catcher around the rear driveshaft and the 2 bolts that hold it in r a super pain in the ass and that superatv carrier bearing will make u wanna burn the whole machine trying to get it in and lined up right
I’m familiar with that piece! Haven’t had to remove it on the pro yet, but did have deal with it on Steph’s xp1k…….definitely not fun. Also put the superatv carrier bearing on that machine, also a pain in the ass.

11:07 I seem myself in that situation and laughed my ass off. Thats me every time. After one cut, torched, hammered, cussed, there is a retainer ring

Good video, I like the new short intro.
Thanks!!! And thanks for the feedback.
Precision carrier bearing part no. 6073 is a direct replacement from orielly
Thanks! That would definitely be a lot easier!
I like the new intro
Thank you!!
Where is Marcel Illinois?
I live in Illinois
It’s spelled Marseilles, I’m not familiar with that area it’s like 2 hours away from us. But I think it’s near Ottawa Illinois.
That roll pin punch in the link below is that the exact punch you used to extract that pin?
Yep!
I love, love , love... that this shit happens to you and its not just me!!
I’m glad to hear it’s not just me!!!

Oh ok cool thanks!!!
Looks like airing down the hooks helped out, that's good. I like the new intro. Are you riding somewhere this weekend?
Yeah it definitely helped!! I can’t wait to test it on some rocks. Thanks! No unfortunately no riding this weekend, 2 of the machines are waiting for some parts to come in.
@@SomewhatHaggard if you ever want to ride together we’re always up for a rip, unless we have a fishing tournament.
Sounds good, I know we’ll be at the badlands September 23 and 24.
LMAO how was a go pro bolt under there? "I was looking for this"... epic
I had taken my shifter boot out because it was driving me nuts. Then I was changing a GoPro battery and dropped it down there
Without the retaining clip has that bearing given you any issues? Im in need of a new bearing
Nope, it lasted almost 1000 miles and swapped it for a sandcraft bearing also with no clip
I like how the cross member comes out makes life easy i can tell ya it wasnt easy on the rs1. How many miles?
Are the rs1’s like the xp1k and come out through the center counsel? It had a little over 1400.
Should've used a bolt and lock nut instead of the roll pin! Makes things a ton more easier when you have to pull the shaft again
I did consider that, I already had the new roll pin. Maybe next time lol

@@SomewhatHaggard lol 😂
Lol and when she sees the thumbnail she’ll find out put a part in a frying pan
Wow 🙄 should try cooking and not burning something one of these days for me 🤣
Lol I can cook a bearing
Wait.. what's protecting that bearing?
It just sits that rubber piece, it’s supposed to be sealed.
It’s not going to forward or back either way so no need for the retainer
Wow that a pain in the d|ck! Like the new branding/logos: pro-fesh-in-all 😎
Thanks!!!
