Nasty Ray is too raw. This scoring system is not good for a persons mindset in battle. Plus Nasty Ray almost always freestyles and as much as I love Issei we have seen those sets before.

The way Nasty Ray dancing with the music in the 1st round was more natural and unpredictable it looked like he's freestyling. That makes bboying so special and entertaining. Issei was really dope as always but I knew what he's gonna do with his move he just put his sets he practices everyday into the battle and the rest is trying to hit the beat perfectly. I personally feel Nasty Ray did better in the 1st round but the rest is up to the judges. At least Dyzee saw that. Dyzee said that sometime you need a luck to win a battle if you face the same level competitor, you need the right judges that have the same taste as yours. Maybe Nasty Ray just hit my taste. But anyway give props to Issei.
the mind and/or body have a limit. nasty ray practices more with freestyle now rather than rigorous training sets for tournaments that require 12 to 16 routines. nasty ray's trying to express himself now and throw some moves/burns/transitions here and there. i wouldn't call it giving up intentionally. just tired. jams take many hours.

Nasty ray for me. Always see issei kill the beats by the same set especially by his freeze with the legs kicking .and with the same groove , the same part of music . What I saw on ray is he was really in the music,where gonna hype his move become powerful
