one thing i noticed looking at speedruns of X6 that i really appreciate (even if it's unintentional) is that multiple weapons can be effective against bosses rather than just one (their weakness) and maybe another that's only useful for getting rid of one of their weapons. like i'm here looking at yammar option, ray arrow, and meteor rain just shred through these bosses like nothing, whereas in the other games i usually just see X using the weakness and nothing else
X will often have commander yammarks shield up when zero doesn't because x can charge his version, making them unbreakable (or at least, near unbreakable) while zero just has the basic version which will break after some collision.
This was definitely a treat to watch.
