Need a new ground, round the cnr, hopefully in Leazes park. 80, 000 Supa , Stadium. Loads of safe standing, seats, closed roof to max rev.To hold concert's, etc, etc. It's pointless, paying 1 billion to extend approx 10, 000 seats. That's not enough capacity for the thousands that ate locked out. Your number, for the new stadium of just 55, 000, is way of. 75-80,00 is the estimate. Build the new Webley of the north to rival the world. Build & they *will come.... nufc fans could create a good atmosphere in a cardboard box...
If you knew about the fact that the city Council and local residents wouldn't be happy about this, then they can only go up. There is no other option except for two, either build a new stadium entirely or build up and expand the stadiums capacity. But Newcastle need to figure something out if they are gonna be a stadium for the 2028 EUROS.
If Newcastle were to listen to me, they should build a new stadium with a capacity of up to 90k. I see no reason to spend 992m to in rease capacity by just 10k instead of spending 3bn to create 90k. Remember, money is no problem to their owners.
PIF and Reubens should be even more ambitious… the new stadium beside St James’ Park should hold more than 100,000. Maybe make it 125,000. It will be for the next century until the next major upgrade
nice idea although leavin saint james would be great for nufc new stadium to a new stadium "upgrade st james were all fans would be happy with the old stadium
55,000 seats 😅, I don’t think so. That would represent a measly 5% increase on what they have now. Expect an investment upward of £1Billion and an increase to between 65,000 and 75,000 seats depending on whether they stay at SJP or move.

Saint James,s park football ground is located in Exeter City,,,,,St James park is part of the historical Leazers Park footprint which has been registered with the land registry as Grade 1 listed greenbelt parkland since 1774 in the reign G1V and the Ciry of Newcastle has held that land lease on behalf of English Heritage,s grade 1 listed buildings and property and that of its historical parks adjacent lands attached to roads of access and the right of way to and for the use of public transport and the public s right of way through the lands publicly granted footpath does not warrant a trespass on that land serviced by the lease holder who has purchase upon that lease set out by the lease owner and that of the land owner every 99yrs written within the terms of the said lease which is determined in English land law by those of English Heritage and the sitting City Council and Councillors of Newcastle Upon Tyne.
It's almost a no brainer to just go for a new ground just for naming rights alone. The clubs who have stadium naming rights make a fortune but the clubs who have been in their old grounds for a century basically cant cash in because of the legacy of the stadium name and because fan outrage would be massive. Old Trafford has to be called Old Trafford forever as does Anfield. But Arsenal aren't in Highbury anymore so they can get Emirates to pay them to temporarily use their name as the stadium name and they can charge them a tone of money for the privilege
80,000 would be better, i live in north Yorkshire and theres hundreds of Newcastle fans in this area, these are fans who adopted there fathers team, inthe 60s lots of newcastle men came to teeside for ici and British steel. Therere are hundreds of Newcastle fans in guisborough alone. Not me tho UTB.
As a season ticket holder,gallowgate/east idea no move expand the gallowgate to Strawberry fan zone,it won't be easy, but at present the old east stand legal and logistics problem.
Good vid, but a new stadium would hold closer to 75,000.
2:25 Good video. First family season ticket was in 1986

Hopefully but I reckon if big enough they will have a lot of corporate boxes in place of seats

Either new stadium or expansion it dusnt matter but we need to replicate or better the dortmond yellow wall, the wor flags wall!

6:13 55.000 you mean 75.000!

4:30 The money is not a problem, of course. How are we going to change the east stand, hello???
You pronounce it St ”James” park it is St ”James’s….
Your wrong , it’s ST JAMES’ PARK , not ST JAMES’S PARK 🤡

@juliogeordio7358 who says it that way? Nobody i know does.

Renovations never work - begin from scratch.
Also if the new stadium was going to be 55000 wed rather have st james park
No! Actually 8,000 more seats is NOT exciting!! A new stadium would be!!

Make it 250000!
This watches like a corporate 'propaganda' video. No downsides, all positives for the consumers (that's fans to you and me).
Absolute load of bollocks
Indeed, the idea of spending £2.8 billion for an extra 2500 seats. Laughable.

You cant boost the atmosphere . Its the best around !!!! We need the seats.. 5 Year waiting list for a season ticket is too long.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
It'll never happen. Your club's being gaslighted.
