I loved that hands-on model, Pranav. Easily, the clearest way to understand moon’s phases! In fact, I think if we could move the light source around you, (modelling the earth revolving around the sun) we could even show when the eclipses even happen. That would require more efforts but it’s a great project for learners!

assuming you took that footage this last full moon like a week ago it's funny that you would say the moon isn't being eclipsed because it actually was! it was just a penumbral eclipse fun fact. i tried to take a photo of it with my phone but it just looked like the regular moon.
Hey, could you really explain the moon's orbit? It does go around the Earth, but it's in a race with it, elliptical, but like two cars racing each other and Earth being faster revolving around the sun. The way you described the moon's orbit that it would be going in full ellipse around the Earth is misleading. Hope you find this comment and correct the video!

So full moon is actually half moon. And that too not totally half moon because we see moon at angle with path sun rays reach moon. And when moon tries to be at position of perfect half moon, eclipse happens 😂
