thats cap..he's the goat but definitely not the sole reason for their success nor is he the best player on the team. Keria, Zeus and Guma are diffrent.
The thing that makes Faker different from players like Knight and Chovy is that he isn’t scared of being the reason his team loses. He will sacrifice waves and get behind on gold and XP to take a gamble on a fight. He will make flash engages that, if they go wrong, he will have been the one that gets the blame. He doesn’t care, and he keeps making plays anyways. I think this is because of his passion as a player, when he says that the most important thing is to “have fun” I really think he means it. He WANTS to make the flashy plays that get fans and commentators hyped. He wants to play on the knife’s edge. Because nobody else can do what he does how he does it.
Yeah definitely it looks like he isn’t ashamed at all even if it fails. Idk if he was like this during his prime era or if it’s because of his experience that he just makes plays nobody would dare to make it’s just insane
T1 gave first blood all 5 matches. (not on purpose, mind you) T1 gave BLG all their comfort picks game 5 just to say, T1 doesn't lose to the LPL. Faker is just a literal anime main character at this point.
@Speedy-Rabbit i think 3 out of 5 makes it a comfort picks game. and it was Bin, Knight, Elk that got their picks, all their carries. T1 got their comfort picks too on Faker, Oner, and Guma. so yeah, it was a comfort picks game.
@@mr.minnesota2560 i did in my reply to the other comment. but Bin is known for his Jax. Knight is known for his Ahri. Faker's first pick hero would not be Galio. Guma's first pick hero would not be Xayah. but I'm not saying they're not comfortable on those champs, they definitely do well on them.
That Geng strat leak really did a lot. Blg was able to completely destory t1 in early game set ups and visions thanks to the info that leak provided. We have not seen any teams did that other than Geng.
Faker haters always say stuff like "you can't say he baited there, he just played bad and got lucky or saved by his teamates, he isn't doing this on purpose". Well, why is he the only player to consistently play like this, and the only to win 5 worlds? His name is Faker because he plays mindgames all the time, and he is the best at it. It isnt that there is noone that plays better than Faker, noone is even playing the same game than Faker, his playstyle is unique
чел тебе плохо? Well, why is he the only player to consistently play like this, and the only to win 5 worlds? он один играет? хватит видеть только фейкера, побеждает команда, не нужно преподносить победы как личную заслугу фейкера..
This analysis is so good. I thought at first that faker was kinda lucky but then this shows that his understanding of the game is so much levels beyond a normal player
He just sees things that others do not, at 6:57 the moment Ashe finishes her recall he cancels his, seeing that three of his team are running down mid. He then decides to wait to make them think he's recalled, then at 7:01 Zeus briefly recalls but cancels it showing that Faker has probably just told them his plan and for Rumble to collapse. Then they all move to execute the play. The team coordinate so well to pull together these plays from seemingly nothing.
Faker is the Playmaker. It's not that no one else tried to make the play, but he is THE ONLY ONE to initiate as soon as he sees an angle, at the cost of his own benefit. That's the courage forged from his years of playing at Worlds, backed by his extensive game knowledge.
I just wanna say I've been watching a lot of your videos lately and everything has been S tier content, you really opened up the game for me in a way other channels aren't able to so thank you! Very good storytelling too.
7:17 moment was cool. Had Faker used E1 then ult first to steal Rakan, On has a window for a counter attack, so he instead opted to E2 and then proceeds to steal ult. Also another crucial thing to point out is that the moment he steal the Rakan's ult he immediately ulted instead of flash + ult, not allowing On to have that millisecond of a counterattack.
Wow. Did not know in that iconic teamfight Faker actually cancelled recall and stayed to flank. I thought he tped in somewhere but he just hid and the call paid off. Amazing.
I appreciate your videos so much!!❤❤ It really helps me appreciate how t1 does so well in these rounds. They go by so quick . I dont play league enough to know what happens. So your vids are a blessing ❤
Is more amazing when you see that blg was playing amazingly, in fact in game 5 the last 2 teamfights where great for blg, they just commited minor mistakes and well, faker and t1 in general, are different. They are as a team, different.
The reason why the first play from game 4 happened is because of Elk multiple mistakes. He use Zigg ult to poke a tiny bit of Guma health instead of chaining it with teammate to kill faker shortly after. Faker survived the face-check into upper mid bush, base and go top, then Elk made a greedy move by staying for plate (he's 100 gold away from luden at that point, you can see after he's dead he even selling re-useable potion and then rollback) and using W early on himself, Faker got the information that On/Xun based and he also have level 2 boot so he just casually walking in and kill Elk. The reason why Faker can have a chance to forced Elk base again after they all TP top is because Elk try to walk in to throw his R trying to kill Keria, the result is he can't throw his ult toward Keria and Keria survived (at the exact same spot Faker survived 1 minute ago). It's Elk who inted game 4 hard by playing with no discipline and cocky, deserved lost.
He also played the Game 5 fights really poor to be honest. Wasted his ult in the drake fight and when they caught Zeus there was no reason for him to get hit like that, lose all his HP and waste his zhonya. It was a 4v1 and he should've played it any other way. Knight choked some fights terribly as well. But everyone will flame only ON. Overall BLG still played very well and mad respect to both teams but yeah.
Great Video, Dobby! To be honest..i would have loved to see Knight and Bin lift the Worlds trophy for the first time but T1 winning is just a classic at this point. So im happy either way. Overall it was a great Worlds 2024 with a great final.
Man, I cannot get over how good that last play was. The only reason that engage works is because bin isnt with them. If bin was there they would have had enough damage to kill them all but bin TP'd to try and catch them on their escape (99% of the time the correct play). My guess is that faker sees that Bin isnt next to Elk when they leave bush (which he should be) so he knows he is either TPing or something else and because of this he knows that he can engage in the 3V3 and burst someone before Bin can join the fight. So either an amazing read and play or just super lucky for Faker
Honestly speaking, half of that play was BLG just wildly misplaying. They walk into a 3 v 3 (since Bin decided to TP) like it's a sure win, when realistically speaking they were at a disadvantage due to health bars and available ultimates. They must have known that Galio flash was up and clearly seen Xin Ziao stacking his Q, yet they seemed to just mindlessly run at T1 without even contemplating stalling for Bin. At the point the fight started, it was pretty much over for BLG, but the biggest blunder has to be Elk holding his flash for the next worlds. He had full vision of that last Galio E due to the control ward, and yet waited for after Galio's charge landed to flash. That is an abysmal mistake. No discredit to T1, they played that fight practically perfectly, but it probably would have went much differently had BLG not misplayed it as hard as they did.
If Gumayusi didn’t panic flash, or if Keria E succesfully, Bin couldn’t kill them both in the first place. If Faker immediately TP the moment the fight started, T1 may not loose anyone to begin with
So many things happened behind the scenes involving Faker this worlds. His skirmish with Chovy's Ahri in the midlane. His death to Ashe R from Elk. But there's actually more lol.
