The squeeky noise you were curious about was the singer Chino. He does use some effect on his vocals but it's mostly just reverb. Having been a longtime tonehead and spending a little time around them in the late 90's it was always amazing to see them live and see Chino do his thing. Every one of the guys were always super nice and humble. Except once I saw Chino get mad because he went crowd surfing and someone took one of his shoes. He stopped the show and wanted his shoe back cause he was "tired of having a closet full of only one of a pair of shoes" because people always took one. Deftones have always been one of my favorite bands ever. It's one of only a couple bands that no matter what, when they come on I have to crank it and sing along with it.

I always felt like "i dressed her in your clothes" was a metaphor for 'my pains from her are carried over to you' 😢. *Edit* (I felt like it was the scars from the previous relationship carried over. or that his first ex left him and hes literally dressing his new girl like his old girl because the new gf is just a decoy to get close to his ex again
