What might have happened is that there’s a lot of Lizs and when they tried Liz Ive, it may have brought up her weight. That whole thing is nonsensical and preposterous cuz she looks perfectly fine and pretty but some people were infatuated with her weight so rolling my eyes. But I think the hosts just stayed clear of that out of respect and also, when you type Ive Liz sometimes it pops up her full name. Awkward interviews are the norm when you’re global and they give many many interviews. They handled everything successfully
They could've just used "IVE's Liz"' instead of Liz (that's because it's popular), and they would've found funny topics like "IVE's Liz German" that went viral for Eleven.. That was so disrespectful. It's not as if they can't tell that the name Jiwon is mostly about the actress.

Wony and yujin def get better treatment in overseas interviews in general, like how they separated the seats 2-4 rather than 3-3. It’s just crazy. All the other members got super boring and basic questions and even though wony and yujin are the most popular, they go too far.

You can see how happy liz was to realise they had cared enough to take the time to find and use her real name but that instantly sorta fading as soon as she realised that some of the questions weren't actually about her :(

A lot of the questions were really poor too in general, like they could've certainly done more to make sure the girls actually had questions they could answer. Like I think they were getting stuff like "Yujin short hair" and "Gaeul funny" etc which are clearly search terms from people looking for images/videos of the girls, but aren't really anything that the girls can actually respond to in any meaningful way. The whole thing felt a little awkward and like Wired didn't really try all that hard with finding the girls good search terms.

I agree. I was disappointed. I’ve watched a lot of those types of videos and usually the question quality is much better. They really dropped the ball with this one.

Honestly the whole thing was horrible, like 90% of the “questions” were not even questions lmao
i felt weird throughout the whole interview. most members had very bad questions, of course including liz. things like “gaeul funny”, “yujin short hair”, “wonyoung crush”, and i believe rei also had a really odd one that made me go “??”. they really should have researched them more, and i’d assume this happens with a lot of people, and probably a lot of idols or other international guests. i don’t feel it would be a big deal to choose something a little better than questions that aren’t even about the person you’ve invited or are a little more than “yujin short hair” or “gaeul funny”. i mean, come on. wired should have done more on their end because it was so awkward and i honestly felt bad for the members, trying to make these more engaging and less awkward. especially because some members hadn’t much to say during the interview because the searches were very bland.

I don’t think it was done to be disrespectful. I think whoever prepared it did a bad job. Lazy, at best. And not just for Liz. Most of those questions weren’t even questions. It could have been interesting, but the whole thing was dull and made little sense.

As for the results, they were ALL boring. Definetely one of Wired's worst interviews, which got saved mostly by Wonyoung being bubbly.
