#HappyTuesday Do you think the Maschine (Mikro/MK3/Plus) is still worth it in 2024? If you want one with the New Year Sale, here it is: shrsl.com/4ddob Stay blessed! - J ✌🏾
I have to say that MK3 is ridiculously capable device for any kind of Genre but downside is quality build ( encoders ) if those are replaced and reinforced with circles or special caps that won't make moves then MK 3 is fantastic instrument and Software able to deliver finished product. Robust learning curve is not that hard and is focused on the main principles of Mix with couple of rules in front of everything else in certain situations. It's actually easy to learn robust workflow because it's repeat of the same and combination of several different things while in other DAW people never gather courage to make decision about when it's done or what is the main focus but skipping the basics like Balance is something that everyone who wants to do something will have to get back and learn basics . In mixing first lesson is about choosing the Mic and placement of the same in other words it's important to choose right sounds that would work together and it's already process leading towards the expirience that had important role in real life situations. There are more but just on the start level Maschine have better impact and direct approach while different DAW's giving possibilities for skipping everything and overcomplicate everything same as majority of today's Producers . Making good Music and Pro quality sound is 41% of the job and it's easier one because he w to promote Music, how to find your listeners who are also looking for you, it's crazy and it's business with good persons but with vanity which should be seen in time and understood because the goal is always success and in the history of mankind there is not a single person who did something alone. There is no such Man, and people together can do something, but before that is trust...MK3 as a device is best Analogue Human Input instrument and with fast workflow it's possible to make several beats for rap trap ect. In one day. It can be very effective for everyone who knows what they want. Unbelievable but quality is not so good like M+ made premium quality for last long and meant to be used.
I had the first Maschine for years, when I built my first studio back in college. And just like you, it changed my life! I didn’t even know what I was doing, and because it was so user-friendly and packed with so much power I was still able to produce some amazing projects while I was learning how to use it at the same time. I’m definitely getting the MK3 as an addition to my new studio RESPECT! ✊🏾
Good video my brother! Maschine does now sell the software by it's self. They just started selling it in the last idk 2 years I think it is around $99 for Maschine 2. That being said buying used is ok now. Used to have to make 100% sure the seller had a license that they would transfer. I bought a couple MK2 Mikros for travel and had the seller send screen shots of them placing a transfer request before I purchased the product. I would however suggest if you buy used to ask for a discount without the software as you will have to buy it seperate.
The machine software does need an update and they need to have upgrade the sample with a warp to tempo option when loading in a sample after you its chopped up from the sampler not only that and of course stem separation because that's the wave right now in music production
I just got my Mikro Mk2 out after having it packed up for a number of years... I don't get the new software upgrade, but... I have a lot to learn to make use of this , and that is my hopes for this winter. I got this a long time ago, and got overwhelmed with Maschine, as well as life... my youngest was born and my computer wouldn't handle the software... now things are different 10 years later... When I packed it up, I debated selling it, and I had N.I. deactivate my license, so if sold the new user would have the software license to go with it....glad I decided to keep it though. cheers
If you're on a tight budget, I would go with the Mikro or MK3. Both their price and utility make them better choices for your home studio. If you want to compose music while traveling, I recommend the Plus even though it is more expensive; however, you can use any of the other Maschines, you'll just need a laptop.
I started with a used Maschine MK2,, then got a Maschine Studio and a Komplete Kontrol with all the software and 15 expansions for $770( a steal). And finally last year, in july to be precise, I purchased the Maschine Plus and The Maschine Jam in a combo for 4900.00( another Steal). I would recommend buying from Reverb 100%, the seller will tell you if what they are selling comes with or without the software and expansions if any. And they will make the proper transfers of licence with Native Instrumentas as I had done with all the equipment I have purchased from them. If you buy from a legit place you'll be fine.
Total noob here: I bought an Akai MPK min 3, 6 mnths ago, still havent fully understood how to use it w/ MPC beats (too convoluted), beyond making a basic beat. Bought the Mahsine MIKRO, 2 weeks ago, already understand most of the functions and trying out melodies etc! Yes its double the price, but I LOVE IT!
I was in the same boat years ago. One of the best decisions I've ever made in my career in music. Keep learning how to use the Maschine Mikro and I guarantee you're going to become a natural!
I had the Maschine Mk1, fell in love and then ended up giving it to a family member (a few years later) thinking I would just upgrade a to the new version, MK3. I never did and the only thing holding me back on the Maschine Plus now, is whether or not NI will continue to support and send out a very much needed software update. If nothing comes in the next few months, I'm thinking about going with the new MPC +. Thanks for the info and the video my friend!
Actually, I really enjoy my MK3, and the Maschine Plus is also good. Because it is so practical for my everyday studio routine, the MK3 will always be my go-to drum machine. For now, I am going to keep using it despite the hardware and software needing significant updates and upgrades. The same goes for the Mikro, but do what feels right for you and I hope whatever you decide to use for your work turns out well. Blessings ✌🏾
@jaunti Thank you man. I really do love the workflow with Maschine. I think it's better, quicker than the MPC. Just load up your sounds and go. I really hope NI makes a serious effort to support Maschine fans because it really is a dope piece of kit. I miss my MK1 and don't really want to move over to MPC but I have heard good things about the new plus. Trying to watch these reviews and see if the workflow can be better streamlined or if it has changed enough to lay down ideas quickly. God bless brother
I just bought a used Komplete control MK2 & maschine mk3. I entered my serial numbers at NI, and all of the software was totally free. Everything that came with your device will be available for free.
@@marcd3518The difficulty I was referring to occurred more than ten years ago when a friend of mine brought a used Maschine that didn't have the serial number, its previous owner lost it. Of course, with today's advanced technology, we can get help with it now. The Maschine was gathering dust since he never got around to using it because it was so hard to acquire access to the software. Without the serial number, it's useless. That reason and then some is why I gave up purchasing used tech.
Since I own both, I would use my S49 and MK3 in my studio together because the integration between the two is perfect when I'm producing music. I usually bring either my Maschine+ or Mikro with me when I travel. What you choose to get is totally up to you.
Believe it or not but you can make a full beat using the micro and s49 mk2 without touching the mouse if your not sampling.I'm about to buy the Plus while it's still 999.00.I think it's still worth it.This is coming from an Akai guy.
That’s what’s up. Are you still using Akai products? I’ve made plenty of full length beats with the Mikro. It’s what convinced me to get the MK3. I love it.
I have an MK3, but never really got into it. Bought a plastic cover to protect it until I get time to spend with it. I've heard there is a bit of a learning curve with it... any thoughts?
Make the most of it, in my opinion. It provides an incredible amount of tools for your creative workflow. When I first started, I had no idea what I was doing. So I watched tutorial videos, read forums, and even learned on my own, but as time goes on, you will start to get better at using it. And the MK3's features are incredible; they will help you learn and compose music more quickly.
I have the Mk3 it’s my favorite piece of equipment but I have to keep it 100 the daw and interface needs a major overhaul and update things need to be more modern more intuitive and not only that it’s needs to be a one stop shop from production recording mix master vocals and releasing a record
You and I both agree. In another video, I made the same statement. Also, another corporation noticed my video when I spoke about one of their products, a VST. They were aware of the criticism they were facing after I criticized them for their rude and unprofessional service. They chose to ban me from their online store out of retaliation. A year later, they released a better version of the same VST after I criticized them for not giving us what was supposed to come with the plugin in the first place. You see? We just need to put our voices together and maybe the companies will listen, they'll give us what we need.
I was trying to make a Mashine Plus purchase but the website was down over 24 hours. When I got back on the sell was over. I think that may have been on purpose.
If NI made like a Kontakt box or something with a seq and sample editing facilities like slice truncate time stretch and the usual suspects like the io that's on the back of the units now. That would be a big problem.
I think everyone has their own way of working, and assuming it works well for you, maschine is indeed a nice tool to make music effectively. I’m not even making a hip hop beats, but with the right amount of stuffs, even making a heavy metal songs are so easy and efficient to do. And the quality of the sound it’s making is just fascinatingly good. Only thing I wish is, just like you said, to make the software more streamline and up to date. I like how light the software is, but the editing with it is pain in the ass, especially with the automation. If they make a fully loaded DAW out of it, I’m still willing to pay extra to get it just for how well it works for me. NI just need to put a bit more effort with their software 😢
Exactly. With the Maschine, you can basically create anything with it, it doesn't have to be just hip-hop music. Hopefully, NI will be adding more innovation and ingenuity to the software. I think that's what people are more concerned about since it hasn't had much of a major update in a long time.
You can absolutely purchase used controllers that are connected to software. Let’s correct that. What you need to do is make sure that you’re buying software where they’re offering a license transfer Native Instruments offers license transferring you can’t just go by the hardware without knowing that you’re getting the license transfer that goes for any hardware that you’re buying Native Instruments or aakai. however Akai is a little bit more forgiving about transferring the software as compared to Native Instruments
I did not elaborate on that point. This particular situation occurred nearly 13 years ago with the release of the first Maschine Mikro and the previous owner of that Maschine lost the serial number. As a result, my friend never followed up to have the matter rectified. In any case, based on my prior experiences, I always think it is best to purchase brand-new, unopened equipment. Also, I believe that the reason Native Instruments is less lenient than Akai is because so many people have abused it. It's the same with Apple, how can we be certain that when someone requests a serial number or even a transfer of license, they are not obtaining stolen equipment?
I’m thinking about trying out the Maschine Plus or MK3 I never used one before just wanted too try something different I’m switching over from the Akai MPC Live which Maschine do you recommend
Nice. Therefore, the MK3 would be my choice if you are looking to cut costs and use a device as your primary studio drum machine. However, I would recommend using the Plus, which will cost extra money, if you are always on the go and need to use a device without a computer.
@@jaunti I was thinking of getting the plus do a payment plan on Zzounds I only got one laptop at the moment and I got FL studio and the MPC software on that so I was thinking about just getting the Plus so that I can still use it until I get another laptop
You will have a different experience because, in case you did not know, the Maschine has its own DAW. Since it is not integrated with either FL Studio or AKAI's DAW, you will need to learn the Maschine DAW (even used as an insert) in order to utilize all of its features. I have the zZounds page in the description if you want to grab the Maschine.
I had one but never used it but other producers really use them a lot. I sold my machine but not the license or software. All I need to do is get any machine not licensed and I am good to go. I have a push now and use it all the time.
Rumors have it that an MK4 will be coming out in Q3-2026, also if people have the Kontakt 12, 13, or 14 collection, then getting the MK3 is wroth it. Because if the person is knee-deep in the Native Instruments ecosystem, meaning that have purchased Kontakt collection or lots of instruments and drum banks on its own, then the MK3 is wroth getting because it can operate everything in Native Instrument's ecosystem, including all the effects NI sells. The only time one would need to veer away from an MK3 like getting an Akai, Novation, or even a Push, is because people want top control their specific DAW with it. You can of course control other DAW instruments with MK3, but most people would rather purchase a specific controller for their particular DAW, like Ableton Live with Push 2 or APC64 and Pro-Tools with Akai Force or an actual MPC. Now, for those electronic EDM dance producers, they usually just program their drums and percussion right on the DAW itself with a mouse and keyboard. Since everything is just 4 on the floor, quantized to 8ths and 16ths. Very rarely, you would see an EDM producer or programmer use MK3 for EDM production. Since most EDM beats are just copy pasta. 🤷♀ You know , Boots and pants, Boots and Pants, Boots and pants. 😂😂😂
Sales are down because before Syber Sale NI Access original licenced payed Software stopped so I couldn't pay for upgrade and now I am hearing that it's about more than half of users who didn't want to play with software and who played upgrade didn't get everything or something is missing and some people are not able to do anything before support fix the issue that made NI less money. Something has happened and I have feeling it's about Subscription everything so MS pushing from Windows side and Mac from there's if they are doing something because usually those cases are solved but Windows is almost Evil
Just makes sure you can transfer the software licence before you buy a used Mk3. It's that simple. I mean, there are absolute bargains out there too, I got my used Mk3 for £200 here in the UK which is half the price of new. Licence transfer was also a breeze.
That’s true. The reason I recommend not buying a used Maschine is because buying used electronics of any sort is a big risk. When I brought a used iMac for college years ago, the video card fried after about six months of usage. I just wanted to warn anyone that buying any used electronic device can be very risky because it becomes such a hassle if something goes wrong with it.
Get a used one 100%, NI will give you a license or you can buy it, or just download it... Do not buy Maschine+, it's under powered compared even to a shitty laptop.
I use the Maschine + very often and I love it. Though, these last weeks I've got troubles by loading the projets. It says some files are missing and I must reboot several times. It even happened during a gig and it was really annoying. I use a 128go (270 Mo/s) memory card. Does anyone already had this problem please?
I can't say that I have. Since I got my new computer, nothing has gone wrong. You might want to use an external SSD hard drive that has a large capacity in TBs. That could be your solution.
i find it a bit crazy that thge maschine + is $1649.00, the mk3 1s $749.00, yet the MPC One+ is 999.00 (all in canadian dollars) and from what i can see other than setup and button layout etc the MPC One+ & Maschine + are very very comparable in memory / processor etc ... but maschine is almost double the price for whatever reason and none of the screens are even touch screens like the Akai One +... hard to come to a decision to be entirely honest . I do like the layout of Maschine + better with the groups all to the left and all the knobs up top and out of the way of the pads .. really struggling to make a decision (also either way i choose to go doesnt matter as ive never used either MPC or maschine before ... I just want to get into something new that I can do in my free time at home as a form of expressing my creativity)
I can respect that. I was in the same boat years ago, deciding on what I wanted but the high prices are what kept me from doing so. Some might call it 'being cheap' but I call it 'wise spending'. I tried the Maschine Mikro first. I had it for two months, took it with me everywhere I went, then I purchased the MK3 but I brought them when there was a huge sale, that is the only time when I make major purchases. Think of it as an investment. To me, it was worth it.
@@haus05I'd say follow your heart but try not to second guess yourself. If you want the Maschine MK3 or the Plus, go for it. I took a chance and it changed my life, blessed me with endless possibilities. They're cheaper on zZounds and you can make payments without having a background credit check. The link is in the description box if you're interested.
@@jaunti I’m just worried if I get the machine plus (which is kinda how I’m leaning due to the way it operates / the way the workflow seems easier) that they will release an mk4 and the price of the + will drop and then I’ll be out of pocket for paying full price . Like don’t get me wrong the mpc one+ looks dope too but it seems a lot more complex / involved to use
@@haus05I'm not sure what NI's plans are for the Maschine going forward but if you do get the Plus and a new model is launched, you can always try to resell it. Every time a new iPhone model was announced, that's what I used to do with mine. If there's a will, there's a way.
Mpc 2000 xl user here and though the machine is kool I rather use a machine that doesn't do all my work for me. It sounds like you just needed to step your gane up on coming up with ideas, understanding the functionality of the unit as well as learning how to mix. It just sounds like you're not meant to make music. I put in all the work. Its how you get your unique sound. Now the companies make it easy for anyone especially those with no natural abilities in creating music make beats is why everyone on the radio and stream sites all sound the same. As long as youre copying others people still wont notice you as you saturate the industry with cloned sounds and patterns. Hardwork pays off. No one holds your hand your entire life as a human so dont let your music equipment make you lazy. Respectfully speaking
Respectfully speaking? Umm, with all due respect, but based on your judgement towards what I said in my video, you're completely wrong about me. I am literally explaining the differences between the units for those who have trouble deciding. I mention the functionalities from all three and pinpoint what can be useful, affordable and suitable for those who are struggling to choose out of the three. I am a Maschine guy, so I've been repeatedly asked to make this video. Because of this video, I am only just trying to help. From what you told me, you believe musicians are less experienced if they wanted to try a different product or a DAW? Because that's exactly what you're implying. I did not like the workflow with FL Studio and the MPK49, so I tried something else that I was more comfortable with. If a producer switches from FL Studio with a MPK Mini to Logic Pro with a Seaboard Rise keyboard, you think that makes them lazy? I do agree with what you said: "don't let your music equipment make you lazy" but that's not what I was focusing on. You missed the entire point of the video. I even mentioned other equipment and software to those who are eager to try out new/different things. It's 2024, things are different. I use Maschine because it actually helps me with music theory. The Maschine integration between the hardware and the software is what speed up my workflow, because of that reasoning, you think that makes me a lazy producer? That's ridiculous if you ask me. I was inspired by DDS, the talented producer behind Dej Loaf's biggest record "Try Me", who also uses the Maschine so if you think I'm lazy for having the same workflow as him then there are probably thousands of other producers you are questioning who put a lot of effort into their work, even those who don't use the Maschine, including those you're probably inspired by. The Maschine doesn't even have AI technology or it doesn't even do half of the work for you, even if you wanted it to. You actually have to put in the work yourself. I just have a fast creative mindset when it comes to making beats, so you're thinking if I can make a beat in less than 10 minutes than I must be using products that do most of the work for me, right? I've been producing, mixing and mastering music for over 15 years. I've sung and wrote songs/poems my entire life. I'm much older than you think, so don't let my baby face fool you. Not only that, but I've also worked with an artist who was signed to Capital Records and Cash Money Records, another artist that is currently signed to Lil Flip's Clover G Records. I've worked with both big and small artists/producers. I'm partnered with 10+ music companies around the world, and God knows how hard I have worked to make it this far. If you think I'm doing it all wrong, then I must be doing something right. I actually put in a lot of effort into my work, I even made a couple of videos last year about producers using products that do most, if not all, of the work for them. Other RUclipsrs, including myself, called out Unison Audio for creating products like that. Look it up. Blood, sweat and tears are what I put into my craft, so get to know someone for who they really are and then make your observation, not before. Respectfully, of course #sensational ✌🏾
I dont think it's worth it for Me, I just dont think that a stand alone pad based music device can do. I have a MPK49 MPK249, and MPK Mini and they all work good with Reason.
I can respect that. Since you are a "Reason" guy, I know that everyone has preferences based on what brings them comfort and happiness in their own unique ways. Have you ever used a Maschine before?
@@jaunti Its not about what gives Me comfort it's that I been using Reason for nearly 20 years, mainly because I like there Rack system which was originally bassed off of how real hardware works. As time goes on there newer devices have become less realistic but to Me sounds good. There there DAW has some problems for example I dont like the sequencer zoom function it's very annoying, to use, Ableton is a better DAW in terms of sequencer workflow. Another problem I'm having with Reason DAW is the search not functioning correctly, I'll open up a sample folder with 10 sub folders and only two will show. Basically makes the in DAW navigation pointless as I can use windows search faster and drag and drop but I dont like comming out of the DAW in the middle of a session every time I want to use a 3rd party sample. I bang on about how I use Reason all the time but that dont mean I'm 100% satisfied and perhaps if I try Machine one day it might be a better workflow.
They’re worth it for every penny at their current price. However, would I recommend them absolutely not. you’re gonna hit a wall doesn’t mean you won’t be able to make music, but you’re gonna desire to do other things that the ecosystem simply doesn’t support. Will be you will be waiting for Native Instruments to make major updates that will not come even in this video. You heard him mention update they have been on version two since I first purchased my machine studio back in like 2014. Yes, they have made some updates, but not to full version three. When you look at the updates, Ableton and FO studio have made and compare them to the updates, Native Instruments has made with machine. It doesn’t compare. For anyone looking to get started my personal recommendation is to stay away from Native Instruments unless you’re getting their sounds go with Akia or FL if you want hardware, integrated with software. Personally, I think the push three is the best option simply because it’s connected to a full DAW. In terms of the best groove box you still have to consider Maschine it is super fun and straightforward but again, you will hit a wall
@@jaunti man honestly I’m not going to do it. I’ve been producing since 2001 and I love NI but there is much to be desired. I’ve used Maschine since 2015 and will continue too but it’s got a bunch of limits I just don’t care to cover it and have a DAW war via comments 😂😂
I totally respect your honesty, so I would not argue with you in the comments. 😂 Convincing people who have differing opinions from me regarding NI products is not my responsibility. I appreciate your decision even though it is merely out of curiosity.
I stopped beating pads 3 years ago now almost 4. The lessons I learned in music by picking up an instrument are priceless. no judgment but for me...this is a no
A keyboard with a screan and DAW style software to arrange samples and sounds is still a instrument the same as a Machine or MPC is, with the only difference being one has keys and the other has pads.
The mk3 is the only device native instruments has that good. They need to stick with their software and leave the hardware to Akai. Which is killing them right now.
Device have serial number for unlock Software and that's it. It's Best not to destruction to buy new and get regular Software. License selling is in some cases impossible. I just want to say honestly what I know for a fact but... There should be a solution given by the person who is selling them 😉
@@igorbeuk4068 I thought so too. This happened when the original Maschine Mikro was released, which was around 12 or 13 years ago. I assume that because he was young, he did not take the time to find a solution.
NI has the software for sale buy itself for $99.00 and if you purchased the software before the hardware NI will reimburse you the $99.00 because the hardware comes with the software
No, the Mikro wasn't worth it in 2020, and in 2024, it still is not worth it. Native Instruments can SMA. It's not the hardware. It's the castrated software that sucks. You can not even edit samples on that piece of junk. Lazy chopping, forget it. Looping samples, no way. It's okay to play with CE, but for the rest, invest in a second-hand real Maschine and forget about the mikro if you want to do serious chopping. My 12 year old MPC studio runs rings around the Maschine software. The plus wasn't worth it (buy a MPC live II).

If you're on a tight budget, I would go with the Mikro or MK3. Both their price and utility make them better choices for your home studio. If you want to compose music while traveling, I recommend the Plus even though it is more expensive; however, you can use any of the other Maschines, you'll just need a laptop.
@@jaunti So Mashine Plus it is😊
I started with a used Maschine MK2,, then got a Maschine Studio and a Komplete Kontrol with all the software and 15 expansions for $770( a steal).
$4900 for the plus and the jam alone? Please tell me they included extra expansions; that seems excessively high for just those two.

My maschine micro mk1 is still worth it in 2024. Looking for more knobs and that’s it. Everything else is a bonus! Great video, thank you
No problem. All that matters is that you keep doing what you do best. Less is more in certain situations. Stay blessed.
Maschine+ the best groove box ever if you ask me! still today!
💯
I got the Mikro. I’m waiting on an update to the Akai Live 2 so the mikro is good enough for me for now
NI does sell the Maschine 2.0 software separately. I think last time I checked it was like $99.00. about two years ago.
I know, I checked and several other people told me.
I have Kontrol S61mk2, do you think I would be enough to have only Micro , since display on MAshine MK3 is the same as on my Kontrol S61 ?? Thank You
I have Kontrol S61mk2, do you think I would be enough to have only Micro , since display on MAshine MK3 is the same as on my Kontrol S61 ?? Thank You
Since I own both, I would use my S49 and MK3 in my studio together because the integration between the two is perfect when I'm producing music.
I love it.
NI has such amazing samples and quality
@@alexW36912 they usually do. I had to get my hands on these.
How long ago were you trying to make a purchase because the New Year sale is over?
@@jaunti yeah it comes down to your method of purchasing used gear. I’ve sold a few NI items and transferred them easily via eBay.
I have the zZounds page in the description if you want to grab the Maschine.

what daw do you use?
I use Maschine for music production and Pro Tools for audio production. I
i bought a mk3 at a pawn shop for 160 , is that a good deal how to recieve license?
That's pretty cheap for a MK3 but I guess it depends on its condition. Is it in great shape?
Rumors have it that an MK4 will be coming out in Q3-2026, also if people have the Kontakt 12, 13, or 14 collection, then getting the MK3 is wroth it.
Because if the person is knee-deep in the Native Instruments ecosystem, meaning that have purchased Kontakt collection or lots of instruments and drum banks on its own,
then the MK3 is wroth getting because it can operate everything in Native Instrument's ecosystem, including all the effects NI sells.
The only time one would need to veer away from an MK3 like getting an Akai, Novation, or even a Push, is because people want top control their specific DAW with it.
You can of course control other DAW instruments with MK3, but most people would rather purchase a specific controller for their particular DAW, like Ableton Live with Push 2 or APC64
and Pro-Tools with Akai Force or an actual MPC.
awesome...just got a Mikro to give it a go..Peace from Ireland!
Nicely done. Have fun as much as you can with your new Mikro! ✌🏾to 🇮🇪

@@garyprater8139 I understand. Maybe you could relieve some of your stress if you could use an address belonging to a friend or relative.
Good word
As of Aug-24 we still waiting for updates.
Be patient, we're going to see some updates. I can feel it.
great video
Thanks 🙏🏾
I use the Maschine + very often and I love it. Though, these last weeks I've got troubles by loading the projets. It says some files are missing and I must reboot several times. It even happened during a gig and it was really annoying. I use a 128go (270 Mo/s) memory card. Does anyone already had this problem please?
I can't say that I have. Since I got my new computer, nothing has gone wrong. You might want to use an external SSD hard drive that has a large capacity in TBs. That could be your solution.
@@jaunti thanks for your answer :)
You mean a SSD directly plugged in the Maschine (instead of the memory card) ? Cuz I use it as a standalone

I just want to get into something new that I can do in my free time at home as a form of expressing my creativity)
@Jaunti what's your thoughts ?
Its all about the Maschine Studio in 2024
I wanted to try that one too but they discontinued it. I didn't want to buy it used.
Like what if you don't mind me asking? What wouldn't the ecosystem support that you can do with the Maschine?
@@jaunti man honestly I’m not going to do it. I’ve been producing since 2001 and I love NI but there is much to be desired. I’ve used Maschine since 2015 and will continue too but it’s got a bunch of limits I just don’t care to cover it and have a DAW war via comments 😂😂

The mk3 is the only device native instruments has that good. They need to stick with their software and leave the hardware to Akai. Which is killing them right now.
