Maybe one day the weather will be in our favour, cheers mate I really enjoyed my time with you and Ric, looking forward to seeing you again in a few weeks, hopefully a bright sunny day and some good flying chickens over you 👍
No mate thank you for taking the time and effort to travel down. You always put on a cracking show and put some over me. And I always do my best to conserve there lives a little longer when I purposefully miss them! 😜
@@TeamFoxer don’t do yourself down, I’ve seen you hit some cracking birds up there, first day tomorrow so we’ll see if my hard work has paid off, they have been a nightmare this year
Thanks Stephen. If you guys wish to keep seeing it. I’ll keep making it. That or if RUclips keep banning videos. It seems to be heading that way with anything shooting related.
Nicely done Robin. Been considering one of those tripods for a while now. But I'm mostly shooting rats, I find the quickness of the Primos Gen' 3 sticks a real asset when out. I take it with the Recon tripods, you'll have to adjust each leg seperately when setting up for your shot ?. Probably better suited to Stalking and Foxing than rats and rabbits methinks ?.
I made a lovely hat out of the last big fox I shot and boy is it warm in winter it’s the future totally environmentally friendly no microfibres like with artificial fur kee it real.
@@TeamFoxer I’m 72 years old I don’t care been after foxes for 50 years and still going with terrier’s Lurcher’s hounds and just shooting I think I’m hooked.🤣😂👍
@@TeamFoxer I will be honest Robin things have been a bit slow regarding the shooting what with rubbish weather and work commitments. However I'm off next week so fingers crossed I can can out and put together a couple of videos. Probably night time rabbit shooting using the Alpex which I absolutely love using at night. Keep up the good work 👍
Hi robin, just purchased the icotec gc350, what sounds do you find beat for foxes an do you use the sounds pre installed or download your own? Cheers mate
Only revenue is for the job itself. It’s an individual priced thing depending on who it’s for, how long it takes, and many other factors taken into consideration.
I use the UK calls that Rob Crampton pre loaded on it at the shooting show. I then have my favorites stored as such in FAV1 and FAV2. Rabbit distress, mouse/vole, pheasant distress etc.
Grimmest video I’ve seen in a while…..they are a native wild animal, why you feel the need to go Rambo and shoot so many who knows? I’m not against hunting but for a reason I.e to eat what you are shooting. This is just clearly pleasure for you, under the guise of we are culling them for game keepers etc. well done on shooting a defenceless animal with your night scope and thermal imager…..👍
Christopher, your comment bares no grounds for debate. Rambo style? How exactly? Did I jump on it with a knife did I? No I did not. Clearly for pleasure? No, again incorrectly assuming that killing is giving us some kind of sick buzz. Enjoying doing a good job, absolutely and I certainly won’t apologies for that. I may be using some top end kit. But it’s not as easy as the edit may make it look. Foxing is a very technical and if you want it done effectively, takes a good few years to master. These foxes are on farms where they do cause a financial loss if left unchecked. If it was just one it wouldn’t be too much of a problem. But it’s not. There’s too many, that not just have an impact on the farm. They throw out the diversity of the local ecology and decimate other important ground nesting birds. Because of me, certain managed areas have never seen so many different animals. I care not wether you believe it or not. It’s fact.
It's about time the attitude towards these animals was changed from the old game keepers tales. They do not cause as much damage to a shoot etc as pro shooters complain about. And before anyone says anything I was a shooter and worked on local shoots for 30 years so I have seen it all.
In Australia, introduced feral foxes and cats has decimated native marsupial populations, even causing extinctions of some species. Farmers also lose many lambs to foxes.

Just aswell you had your rifle for the first 2 Robin. Great video guys.
Always pays to have a back up. Because I’m on thermal I could see no problems. It really shows the difference between NV and thermal.
@@TeamFoxer a good thermal scope is the business. I'm using the alpex nv and it doesn't or should I say hasn't white out like some other nv do.

Don't you have the fox tapeworm (Echinococcus multilocularis) on the island? I'm not touching any of my foxes without gloves.
I’ve handled hundreds if not well over a thousand dead foxes. Not had a problem yet.
Very well done. Great shooting. Cheers from Texas.

Missed one today at 7 yds walking with my bow think I led him too much
We’ve all missed sitters. Doesn’t feel any better when we do though does it.

I know that there isn't a market for pelts but do you get a bounty fo4r the fox you shoot?

Hi Robin, for your ICOtec, do you use a custom pack of calls, or out of the box?
I use the UK calls that Rob Crampton pre loaded on it at the shooting show.

I notice you never shoot a non-binary or genderfluid fox or ever a fox with gender dysphoria. Funny that. A good job well done 🍺🇦🇺
🤣😂🤣😂🤣
Indeed. Funny how in the animal kingdom very very few exceptions it’s black or white. Make/female. No grey area or multiple genders.

@@Snoozzzzzze most domestic cats are kept indoors. In rural areas any wandering cat outdoors is shot.
