- Out with the NEW HIKMICRO Stellar 2.0 in this video as we go after a few problem foxes on the chicken farm. Before we go out, of course we need to check zero.
Now just for clarification. I did zero this when I first got the scope. The same night I did get the fox over the big dyke, while observing the hares.
I then filmed the beginning bit of this video, where I checked the zero before heading out with Andy.
I did this to show, that you can zero in the day as well as at night with these scopes.

Thank you very much for watching. Take care, stay safe, and as always, happy shooting.
Nice to see you at the show at the Doncaster race course
Thanks, the girls and myself enjoyed the day out.
Great stuff as usual Robin
Cheers Ian.
Great vid and shooting as usual Robin, looking forward to the IcoTec review.
Nice sessions there Robin. Some great shots. Baffled as to how that vixen was still standing.
My thoughts exactly, there tough animals that’s for sure.
Well done chum, the Stellar Mk2 is certainly an improvement on the Mk1, how you can improve something that was already brilliant, I don’t know , but they have.
See you soon 👍👍
Indeed. Shame the mic still isn’t as good as some. But would that then make it too perfect?
@@TeamFoxer to be fair to the team at HIKMICRO, the microphone is a lot better than the original version.
Mic position has improved it, and you just need to speak very quietly 😉🤫🤫🤫
Enjoyable video Robin, thank you again!
Thank you Reg. All the best mate.
Good video mate, i love my SQ50 2.0, bloody excellent gear.
Good to hear mate. I really loved mine. It’s on the HMR now.
Great stuff Pard, as always. I was up your neck of the woods last week, I can see why you have that platform on the back of your truck, tis pretty flat up there and not many backstop, you need to know your ground intimately 👍
Indeed. It’s handy working on it, spraying it, mapping it, crop walking it etc. so yeah I know it pretty well.
It was the first time I had been that way, and I was surprised to see how flat and large the fields are, some of those fields are as big or bigger than some of the farms we have down here in Cornwall.
I love the commentary Robins 😂😂😂
Thanks…..I think. 🤔😬
@@TeamFoxer I think you make the videos fantastically and your Sense of humour is spot-on that’s all I meant
@@matthewwhiteford6841 well that’s very kind of you to say. Thank you.
Great result Robin, another cracking video 👍
Thanks for the Support mate.
Another great vid Robin . 💥👍👍
Nice work on the red skins 🦊💥👍
Thanks for the visit please do come again. 🦊👍🏼
Great video Robin. The foxes our way seem very few & far between this year compared to the last 20 or so years. Are you finding the same your way?
Well it’s funny really. I’d have said yes 3-4 weeks ago. But now we seem to have exploded with foxes. There’s loads about.
Great viewing mate
Very kind of you to say so. Thanks for watching.
Is there a reason you never had the pre record on shot, set up? It's a fantastic feature.
Great Video. Is the stock you use a Boyds featherweight thumbhole? Looking to get one. How do you find it re fit and is comb height enough?
Nice clean shots 🤘🏻
Thank you very much!
@@TeamFoxer best say nice truck as well as I have the same lol
I feel bad but aslo satisfied at he sane time
Great job Robin that Stellar looks amazing mate 👌
Some piece of kit that’s for sure.
As always very nice
Thanks a lot 😊
Rob when your recording the video as you walk towards the kill and you change it to b&w do you do that on the phone or editing on pc or something after?
I do it on the PC afterwards. I do this because RUclips’s algorithm recognises blood 🩸, well lots of it and auto bans the video.
@@TeamFoxer thank you for the reply I fort that’s why but was ent sure how you done it as I have tried on my phone but it changes the whole video 🙈
great video mate
Nice mate 👍
Cheers mate. Appreciate the support.
Where did you get the clock?
I purchased it in the Middle East on holiday last year. Though I have recently seen an advert for them on Facebook.
I've checked on Amazon, they've got some.
very good
👍👍👍
Mate what do you find is the best call from your 500
This is not a straight forward answer. However keep turned in as I will cover this in the icotec review video.
At this release rate old models should be dirt cheap
Chicken eaten by other chicken, i think, what a bad farmer not checking that they are all in for the night.
There’s over a million birds on this farm. Over 20 sheds each over 100m long. There free range so it’s all automated. They expect to loose a certain amount.
@@TeamFoxernumbers doesn’t make it right. It is incredibly bad farming practice to allow any animal to be exposed unnecessarily to predators. Unfortunately, many chicken farmers are very poor livestock keepers and bad for the environment. The farmer could easily electric fence. I use electric fences to protect chickens and it is very effective. Likewise fox traps etc. I knock out about 5-10 per month. you are doing a good job keeping their numbers under control.
👍👏👏👏👏👏💕🇺🇦
