    Thanks for watching! And which watch would you choose? :)

    I like how you compare new releases with the Venu 2S. I think you’re the only reviewer who isn’t always wowed by the latest releases simply because it’s the newest. You continue to validate the 2S in 2024. I appreciate that! I’m always looking forward to Tech Tuesdays. Thank you!

      Hello! Yes, I'm a believer that just because something is a bit older doesn't mean it's bad. Older watches like the Venu 2S can still perform great, comparably or even better than some of the new stuff. I'm glad you to hear you look forward to my Tech Tuesdays 😊, and thanks for sharing 💜

    I appreciate how often you talk about "older" tech on this channel and how frequently things go on sale. A lot of tech reviewers are just not anywhere near my tax bracket, lol.

      Thanks for sharing! I'm glad you are enjoying my videos. Frequent sales are a huge benefit of getting older tech in my opinion, and lol true.

    This is perfect! I was just looking at the Lily 2 but I wasn’t sure to compromise on size versus features. Really great explanation! You’ve covered everything I need to know and have fantastic visuals to go with them. Thank you!

    Thank you, Abby, for this wonderful review of these two watches! I've been back and forth deciding between the two and your review is so helpful and thorough. One more question regarding the available activities and that's left me a bit unsure: I do enjoy indoor spin cycling and wonder if this type of activity can be tracked on the Lily 2. Have you any insight or advice there?

    • @AbbyBReviewing
      @AbbyBReviewing  6 месяцев назад

      Hello! The Lily 2 does not have an indoor cycling option. It has an outdoor bike option/or cardio options can be used as a workaround, but you won't get the exact same results as you would on the Venu 2S that does track indoor cycling. You also need to purchase a external speed/cadence sensor to attrach to your workout bikes step or wheel to get accurate speed/cadence data.

    Hi my lovely x. I'm looking at investing in a Garmin fitness/smartwatch. In your opinion, which is best? I mean, you have all of them and have used all of them. Currently looking at the Fenix 7S Sapphire, and the Vivoactive 4 (not the 5, I don't like the cheaper materials). I know they are worlds apart, but I also have no idea what to buy in terms of fitness/smartwatches. lol. I hike, gym, and do horse riding. Many thanks xx

      Hi there! So what I hear is your looking for a Garmin watch, good decision ;) great news is you have many options to choose from, and I've reviewed a bunch as you know lol, so you can check out my Garmin playlist here: ruclips.net/p/PLj1R-thNvAXexe2Prq4WXmY94SKwgtpv2 for help narrowing down if needed. I switch up the watch I wear pretty often, and the best for me may not be the best for you.. When choosing a watch I'd consider the size of the watch, battery life, colour options, design, price, materials, display type, the activities you do and the features you need (ex. built in GPS, voice assistant, music storage). Once you choose all that you can narrow down your list a lot.
      The Fenix 7S is a great watch it's is Garmin's flagship watch packed with a lot of features, good battery life, durable build and more, I def recommend it! But, if you are not going to take advantage of all the features, or if your looking for something a bit more compact with a lower price that can still track you basic gym activities and daily metrics and still made of good materials you may want to opt for the lower priced (MIP display: Vivoactive 4S or Forerunner 255S) or (AMOLED display: Venu 2S, Venu 3S, or Forerunner 265S) for example.

    Hi Abby! How easy is it to sync the Lily to Apple’s Health app? Is it even possible?

    • @AbbyBReviewing

      @nah_ledi hello, im not sure if that is possible. I'm an Andriod user currently so cant test that. It does work well with the Garmin Connect app though.

    Would you say the garmin venu 3s is better for sleep and overall health tracking?

    • @AbbyBReviewing
      @AbbyBReviewing  2 месяца назад

      @EllenDelaney-sq8pf Hey, not really, none of them are great at sleep tracking, they are just okay at that. They can all track basic health metris well. The Venu 3S does have more options of things to track.

    Thank you for all of your videos! My FR 45S broke where the band attaches (watch still works great, so bummed about that), and I'm trying to decide between the VA 4S and Venu 2S. I already watched your video comparing the two, but what would you suggest for someone buying for the first time vs upgrading? In 2024, I'd be buying them used/refurbished. I prefer the VA 4S to the VA5 because of the smaller size and altimeter. I kinda like the always on display on the VA 4S but worried about battery life with it being so old now. I think the Venu 2S display is brighter and has a few extra activities. I would love to hear your opinion. Thanks! ❤

      @kcdc7743 Hello, if you're planning on getting a used one, the battey may or not be as good as it was initially depending on how it was used prior. My Vivoactive 4S and Venu 2S still have good battery life similar to when i got them, though now in 2024, also still getting occasional updates for both. And i would consider the type of display you want, your budget, and the key differences that i mentioned in my comparison. I also mentioned the one i prefer, too! I think both are great options in 2024. If you like to do HIIT activities the newer heart rate sensor on the Venu 2S may be beneficial if you don't and you prefer the MIP always on display of the Vivoactive 4S it may be a better choice for you. Hope that helps!

      @@AbbyBReviewing Thank you for responding so quickly! Even though I was leaning towards the VA 4S, I found a "barely" used Venu 2S for a good deal, so I took the plunge. Hoping it's not a 🍋! Thanks again for your response and awesome videos!

    I just want a smartwatch with the features of the vivoactive or forerunner line with the size of the Lily (or maybe up to 38mm) T_T
    It's frustrating that us women with small wrists have miss out on so many features.

      @@AbbyBReviewing If you have several Garmin watches and wear them interchangeably, how are your statistics saved in the app? Is the app "smart" enough to sync and integrate the data from both of them?

    • @AbbyBReviewing
      @AbbyBReviewing  Месяц назад +1

      @@ameliawalter the Garmin app is great for using multiple watches! It adds sleep, activity and other metrics from each watch and syncs data between them with no issues. You can see which workout came from which watch as well.
