I'm a trans man. And I come from a very broken home and when I came out to my divorced parents they threatened to kick me out. I now live with my best friend from highschool who is like my sister. And she supports me and her parents as well and it makes me finally feel like a son. And this song makes me feel like I matter and have hope.
My stepmother and dad wouldn't agree with me being Trans but my real mom supports me and I am only 13.

Hey, your not-so-local gay Youth Pastor here, and I just want to let you all know this one thing: God doesn't care that you're gay, trans, bi, pan, etc. The Bible says, directly, to accept all others for who they find themselves to be. And if that doesn't do much for you, just know that you'll always hold my respect. Keep doing what you're doing, you have God and myself's approval :)

I still feel this way, but now I’m closer to accepting myself. Yet, I don’t have a clue how to live my life if I actually accept myself. My family is transphobic and there is nothing I can do. The only thing that would help is solid proof in all aspects and I really want to prove it. As a closeted polygender asexual abrosexual I’m struggling to even live.

Yeah, I'm not sure which laws your talking about specifically, but I live in Florida and there was a law passed that says that if trans minors try to get gender-affirming treatment they will be taken from their parents so I can't even be myself :(

I am bi, I have known it since I was 9 i handy told anyone till age 11 and I’m 11 I told my aunt bc I wanted to tell my grandma but she passed away😢 so u texted my aunt saying I’m bi, she said nothing can stop me from loving you, I will have you for. A weekend and we can go somewhere overnight. She supported me. She is the only family member that knows, I would tell my mom but she is homophobic. I am scared to tell anyone else but thank you god for giving me such an amazing aunt!

In the time I've made that comment, both my parents know(my parents are divorced, I came out on my dad's birthday so he's known basically for a while and my mom was told by an ex friend of mine(I had gone no contact with her fir a few years we r better now tho) and she questioned me on it but has accepted it) some cousins have guessed, and so have some aunts and uncles. Showed this song to my mum 4 years ago and she asked if I was queer. She told me not to tell anyone when I said yes so next day I went to school and told everyone that would listen to me

As someone who has fought with their gender identity for what feels like way to long. Hearing this makes me realize how my family says they accept me but I feel that they really don't want me to be demi-boy but we are not even Christian but I know that the side of my family on my mothers side would not understand and they are Christian and I know they will not understand but it hurts so much even though I know they don't understand. I'm just glad that I met my two amazing partners who are there for me through all my trial and error and the friends that I have that love and support me no matter what. I hope that one day that I can just be myself fully and I don't have to appear feminine just because that is what is expected of me to present as and I can present any way I see fit.

I came out as trans ftm in about October-November. My parents said they didn't understand but they would try to support me. They still kept calling me the wrong pronouns and wrong name. My dad and step mom were a little bit more supportive. Then, a huge change happened. My mom said that even though she doesn't completely understand, she will call me the right pronouns and name. She then asked me what my preferred pronouns and name were. My dad and step mom still misgender me but they also support me.
Just remember that you are perfect and nobody can tell you what to do. It's your life, not theirs.

Yeah, having a brain that tells you you suck and that you should be ashamed of yourself is no fun, I’ve had the same problem. Just remember, always listen to your heart, never let the bad feelings take over, and surround yourself with people that love and support you. Over the past few months, I’ve been going through RUclips comment sections and finding transphobic and homophobic people and arguing with them, and it took a lot out of me. I realized that being surrounded by good feelings and good people works wonders. Listen to your heart, and keep living as the wonderful woman you are.

Just found this song and it hits home. I’m trans and my grandma has dementia so I can’t really have her understand. Both my parents are unsupportive but my mom tries sometimes. I have an uncle John also who straight up just deadnames and misgenders me all the time too. I can’t stop listening to this song.

I'm trans and gay (BL) and I thought I could tell my mom cause she always says she supports that stuff but when I came out she said I had to wait a year for her to be ready and it's been a year but she's still not "ready" she says I'm stressing her out and she's tried to prove I'm not actually gay but I am. She's shouted at me for my friends calling me Marcus and for asking my teachers to call me Marcus as well. Im done waiting for her to be ready.
