That vocal part works like a waving drone, brilliant technique as always! Piano and super cool fx section are also really inspiring, thanks for all your work!
Dude's real good at this. And a quality beat producer too. Good energy - gracious. And excellent tips. I wish him well. Always pullin for decent people helping people.
Yoyo! Really enjoyed this episode, I think it's one of your best so far. I like that you're constantly exploring different styles and artists and especially this one made me think that.. it's totally fine going away from your comfort zone trying whatever you want. This entire year I've been kinda trapped in my four on the floor-mindset because I always thought that's the thing I kinda do best. But now, I'm gonna go and polish my template, and start on my BOC-journey.. finally! Thanks for the inspiration man!
Ah this was such a wonderful comment to read, thank YOU man. I love that you're a part of this community and still so pumped to keep learning and experimenting! Glad to be a small piece of inspo today! Do your thing! Big love
So glad I subscribed recently! This tutorial is gold!!! The Kount is my top 3 favorite producer, would be awesome if you'd cover MXXWLL in an episode 🤑 Cheers!
This is amazing! Thank you! Could you do an indepth video about this filter eq you are doing to the chords? I'm trying to emulate what you are doing but I can't get my filter to sound as thick and rich in ableton. Idk if it's the sample I'm using but I'm struggling
Funny that you mention the Kount. I never heard of the guy until that Andrew Huang episode and I immediately looked him up. He definitely makes cool beats. As for interesting ways to make beats, the way producer Four Tet handled Michael Jackson's Thriller in a manner of minutes just blew me away: ruclips.net/video/TUDsVxBtVIg/видео.html

You and me both! Phew! 😅
The Kount 👏 unreal grooves

It’s most likely the sample, this is just a filter sweep, the thicker the chord and richer the sample - the fatter the sound
This is crazy 😭😭. When I watched the episode of 4 producers, I hated Illminds response. He just said some Dilla stuff when that beat was knocking
I feel you!! Yes
gems!!! i would love if you did a video trying to replicate rachel k colliers insane production!
Oh goodness, her channel is amazing! I don’t know if I could fill those shoes!!!
The list of patreons slows down if you look away (that's all I can contribute).
Thanks for sharing your knowledge! ✌
Thanks for your contribution, it’s still appreciated!! 😂✌🏻
Instant like!

Ah dude I remember this against the clock, it’s been years since I revisited! Thanks for the reminder, I’m going to jump back in!
How did you get eq8 to do anything dynamic?
