I had one of these when they came with two pickups and a scratch guard for 400 bucks. It was a great guitar. I would take that one and drop the Gojira - Joe Duplantier pickup in it and bam, Done!
Nah, that was just something I was fooling around with. Sometimes when I do demos, I just hit record and play, then edit whatever doesn't sound too terrible.
@@Guitarnivore hell yeah, gittin' down 👹🎹🎶 thought it sounded kinda familiar. bridge section of Little Queen has similar chords totally reminded me of that haha
I found just about any well built humbucker will sound better than a hotrail. I love the humless option of using a hotrail, but they just sound kind of thin compared to a regular humbucker.

This pickup is fantastic. Comparable to a Seymour Duncan JB.

The 200 series from Ltd is pretty slammin' but the 1000 series is where is at! You should check the ex 200 series or the ec256. you might like those.

That's a sweet guitar, I'm no metal head but I am a Doobie Brothers fan, love the nod to China Grove!
China Grove in D sounds funny. 😆 When cleaned up, if you split it and play more towards the neck, it has a really nice sound to it.
That is a sweet looking “T” style guitar. Is the jack placement close to the strap button?
It's toward the bottom, kind of parallel to the floor.
@@Guitarnivore Thanks! I figured they would have place it in a spot more like a Ibanez JEM. Seems like the jack would get in the way.
